chapter 26

~Elena point of view~

I need to find Stefan.. I figured Klaus must be looking for werewolf packs to turn in vampire to make his army. I ask Tyler for information on  where a local pack shifts on a full moon, I  then gets Alaric to go on the hunt with me.

When we went to look around, I was standing by a pond when suddenly I was shoved through the air into the pond. It was Damon, Alaric told him everuthing about where we were going. Damon tries to get me to bail, since Klaus thinks I'm  dead. I refused to get out the lake because as soon as I do he would make me go home. He came in the lake to get me but I still refused. Eventually he agreed to at least check things out but we have to leave before the full moon.

Some guy was walking through the woods. He rushes Damon and has the upper hand. We  try vervain Darts at him, but they do nothing. I  throw  Damon the wolf's bane bomb and that scalds him. he's was a hybrid.

Night has fallen and we  run through the woods and I trip on something. Suddenly, there's a wolf in front in front of me. Damon calls for it and runs off to make it chase him. I wanted to help Damon but Alaric insists they keep moving.

Later that night, I walk into my bedroom to find Damon.. Thank God he's Okay.. He says he saw Stefan and that He was wrong about him being gone.

"Is he okay?" I asked.

Damon says "he's not and he needs his asskicked, but he can be saved. I will help you. what changed your mind about leaving the mountain?"

"I was worried about you. why do you need to hear it."

"Because when I drag my brother back from the edge and deliver him to you, I want you to remember the things you felt while he was gone," he says, looking deep into my

eyes.

Alaric sees Damon leave and looks at Elena. "Know what you're doing there?" he asks.

"No, I don't," I said.

~Tyler point of view~

Where the Hell is Caroline?! We finally got together last night and she just left. Tonight a full moon, Caroline usually helps me with my transformation. I tried the coffee and notices it's off, like the one my mom made at home. Matt tells me the sheriff makes him put a little vervain in the coffee. So I guess my mom did the same thing. Did she have something to do with Caroline disappearing on me?!

i go home and confronts her about the vervain. She admits she was testing him because of Caroline. She says he can't be with Caroline because she's a monster.

"You don't know about me, do you?" he asks.

I take my mom down to the cellar and chain mydelf to the floor. "You think Caroline's the monster, I'm the monster, Mom."

I lock her in the dungeon and tells her Mason and I  got the family curse. I  started to turn and my mom scream in horror. 

Later I wake up, naked and chained to the floor. I see my mom is crying in the cell. She promises to make sure nothing will happen to Caroline.
