chapter 27

~Elena point of view~

I woke up and find Damon lay in my bed next to me.. really Damon what the Hell!! He tells me Stefan in Chicago. So we soon got on the road.

On the road, Damon gives me Stefan's diary. I dony want to read any his private thoughts and i think I've already seen him at his darkest and can handle it. Damon drives and reads. Stefan writes he wakes up covered in stranger's blood with strange women. I grab the book  reads on, Maybe I don't know how dark he can be.

Once we get Chicago, Damon and me visit Stefan's old apartment. Damon goes to the secret closet, which looks like it's full of moonshine. I see the list of names. There are hundreds. Damon says Stefan was a cocky ripper douche back then. He kept his distance. He left me in the apartment

to go look for Stefan, telling me to come up with a plan.

~Stefan point of view ~

Fuck!...I miss Elena so much. But I have more important things to worry about, like the fact that I knew Klaus in the 20's but I don't remember anything. Apparently I also knew his sister, Rebekah. Why can't I remember anything about these two?

Klaus opens up a coffin. There's his sister preserved with a dagger through her chest. Klaus said she has a worse temper than him. He removes the dagger and compels the warehouse security guard to direct Rebekah to Gloria's, then let her feed on him til he dies when she wakes up. Klaus tells me, I entrusted him with one of me  biggest secrets and he's going to prove it.

Klaus tells me I asked for Liam Grant's name then told him my secret, part of my ritual. I remember I wrote down the names to relive the kill, over and over again. Klaus opens the secret door and holds it open for me to walk inside. I turned to thr corner and see Elena hiding. I wanted to hug her and kiss her but I couldn't to keep her safe from Klaus.

"Look what I found." I said.

I'd grabs a bottle of single malt scotch and off they we went.

later, Damon comes in and signals me, and I excuses myself. Outside, I tell Damon that Gloria is about figuring out the doppelgänger isn't dead and that's why Klaus can't make hybrids. Damon goes inside and sits down with Klaus. Klaus promised me he wouldn't kill Damon. Then Elena hugs me and asks me to go home with them. She had a syringe with vervain in her hand and is about to stab it into my back. But he catches her and knocks it away, asking how many times he has to tell her he doesn't want to come home. her hand and is about to stab it into his back with vervain. But I stop her and said No matter how many times she ask me to go home I won't.. I also explained that as soon as Klaus figures out she's alive, he'll know why he hasn't been able to make hybrids. I said it's done. "I don't want to see you, I don't want to be with you, I just want you to go," I said and walks away.

 ~Tyler point of view~

Liz and I are going to save Caroline from her dad. Never thought I would day that before.. He leaves the dungeon and locks the door behind him. He looks up to see Liz pointing a gun in his face.  Liz calls for me, and fires a warning shot at Bill when he resists. I go in and releases Caroline, putting her ring back on her finger. I carry her out the dungeon and away from her fuck up dad.
