Chapter 64:

DRACO'S POV~

The next morning was hell for me. I woke up with a pounding headache and I felt like shit. Y/n was sitting at her window sill when I woke up.

"I put some Advil and a water on the side table. It'll help with the headache, but you should probably go take a shower." She said without looking up from her book.

"Why?"

I popped the medicine into my mouth and took a sip of water, feeling the coldness go down my throat.

"You were all sweaty last night when you came in."

She finally looked up from her book, but she wasn't looking at me, she was looking out the window. She gasped and I stood up before walking over to the her. I looked out the window and Blaise was beating Cormac up by the Black Lake.

I slipped on some shoes and ran out of the common room and towards the Black Lake. Everyone was just standing around and watching as Blaise threw punch after punch.

I went to pull him off and felt a sharp pain at my jaw. I grabbed my face and Y/n came up to me.

"Look at me."

I did as she said and she examined my face.

"It's a good thing it wasn't bad enough to dislocate it or anything." She softly smiled and I massaged my jaw.

Being more careful this time, I pulled Blaise off of Cormac as he fought against me. I got him back long enough for Cormac to get up and walk away with his friends.

Luna was standing beside Y/n with a worried look on her face.

"Luna it's okay, he's fine. I'm sure he'll explain later, but come on, let's go get you some tea."

They both walked away and I let go of Blaise. He looked at me and I sighed as everyone started leaving the Black Lake and going back into Hogwarts.

"What was that all about?" I asked.

"He said something disrespectful about Luna. I'm not just gonna let him get away with it."

"Oh.. well that's understandable, i would have done the same thing if he disrespected Y/n. I was just making sure the fight wasn't pointless." I laughed and he joined in. "But hey, don't let it get to you. He's not worth it."

"Yeah you're right, and sorry for elbowing you in the jaw, mate. I was just so angry and didn't realize what I was doing." He apologized and I rubbed my jaw.

"No it's okay, it's something I would have done too."

We started walking back to the common room and went up to Y/n's dorm, looking for Luna. I walked in and they were sitting at her window sill, drinking tea and talking to each other.

"Luna..?" Blaise nervously spoke up.

Luna got up and ran over to him, hugging him and checking his face and body for any cuts and bruises.

"Well I'm glad you're okay darling. Should we step out and give Draco and Y/n their privacy?" She looked at us.

"Yes I need to talk to you and explain what happened. Come on love." He grabbed her hand and they left the room, closing the door behind themselves.
