"Haaa, this just hits different." Exhaled Ayame while putting down her empty cup.

Mio who just watched her gulping down the sake in her cup like it was fresh water had a dumbfounded expression on her face.

"Appearances can really be misleading huh?"

"Guess so, but I'm starting to get used to this kind of random developments from her." Added Fubuki.

"Are you going to be alright?"

Ayame watched Mio casually while reaching for some of the food on the table.

"Don't worry about me, I can take a lot more than you'd think. This is nothing for me."

"Is that so? Alright, if you say so I think we can move on."

"Yes."

"First of all, I think we have yet to hear you introduce yourself."

"Oooh that's right! I even asked for your names earlier but didn't give you mine in return."

"Heh, that's because..." Fubuki did not finish her sentence but she knew what she was talking about. She still had the image of the enraged Mio yelling at the pretty demon before her. However it seemed like Mio understood what she was thinking about, mainly thanks to her expression that looked like something between embarrassment and exasperation.

"Anyway! We are waiting."

"Yes yes... Hum, Hi again, I'm Nakiri Ayame, an Oni and a swordwoman. You can just call me Ayame."

"Ayame, huh? It fits you well." Remarked Mio.

"I think so too." Replied Ayame.

"Aren't you confident." Said Fubuki jokingly. "Well now that it's done, we can finally attack the real issue at hand."

"Right, let's get on with that. So since you assured us that the demons have nothing to do with it, I would like to know what do you and your people think about this?"

"Well, for starters we are certain that this is some kind of magic. What kind of magic, that we don't know for sure however."

"I see. At least we agree on the first part, it's exactly what we thought too with Fubuki."

"I mean, I don't see what else it could be. A giant structure appearing out of nowhere without a sound, if that wasn't magic then I wouldn't even know in what world I live anymore." Retorted Fubuki.

"That said, it think the most important question is not really what it is, but rather who is behind it. Because whoever has enough magic to do something of this scale is bound to be a problem if we somehow make an enemy out of them."

"That funny to hear from you considering the entrance you made here, but you're right on that. I really wonder who could be able to do something like this. To be honest I doubt we are talking about a person here, instead it would be more credible if it was a group." Reacted Fubuki.

"So it would be some kind of ritual? Interesting. From what I know you already investigated the place, right?"

"Yes, I already went there earlier although I didn't really approach the thing. I mostly surveyed the surroundings of it to see if I could find any suspicious person or traces. But unfortunately I didn't find anything or anyone."

"I see... Yes, that would make sense if it really was like he said."

"Who said what?" Asked Fubuki.

"Well, one the elders of my clan said he knew about it, he talked about something like space magic."

"Space magic? What's that?"
