So everyone left again, so it was just me and Max again. They left because Phoebe was getting worried about her schoolwork. All they said was to keep in touch about Max and his powers.

I got out of bed and changed into a plain black tee and jeans. I put on my zombie sweater over it and put on my combat boots. I kept my hair natural and put a black beanie over it. I put on some light lip gloss and slide on my forget me not ring.

I walk out of the room and go into the main room of the Man Cave. I walk over to the Auto-Snacks machine and get some cereal. I sit on the couch and turn on the news. I was glued to the TV until I felt hands on my shoulders. I yelped at the touch and turned around to see Max smirking. I get up and punch his arm.

“Max! Don’t scare me like that!” I yell.

“I’m s-sorry”, Max says between laughs, “I-I have something to show you!”

“Okay…what is it?” I say crossing my arms.

He takes two fingers and points at the TV’s remote. It then floats in the air. My eyes widen in shock.

“You have your powers back!” I yell in excitement.

“Well…not everything, just my telekinesis”, Max smiles.

“That might mean that you’ll get your heat and freeze breath later on!”

“Maybe”, Max says. I give him a hug as the elevator door opens. Ray walks out and goes straight to his desk. The first thing I think about when I saw Ray was Henry.

“HOW COULD YOU?” I scream walking over to him.

“What are you talking about Teddy?” Ray asked raising an eyebrow.

“HENRY! I’m talking about Henry!” I yell, “Why did you fire him?”

“Teddy…you don’t understand”, Ray says.

“I understand that you made a mistake.”

“Teddy’s right Ray”, Max says, “You shouldn’t have fired Henry.”

“I had too!”

“NO YOU DIDN’T! He could have easily made up an excuse. Say it was part of a costume or something.”

“Teddy this isn’t your fight. Instead of talking about this, why don’t you guys go to the park?

“Uh, we can’t…”

“Why can’t you?” Ray asks crossing his arms.

“Bad guy…wanting to kill me…outside…”

“Ugh, fine Teddy! Just get out of my hair!”

“Not until you give Henry his job back!”

“I WANT TOO, BUT I CAN’T! HE GOT CAUGHT TEDDY! THAT’S IT!” Ray screams and runs out of the room.

“UGH!” I stomp over to the couch and sit down. Max walks over to me and sits next to me. He puts his arm around me and squeezes me.

“It’s going to be okay Teddy…we’ll get Henry his job back…I promise”, Max says. He kisses my forehead and puts the TV back on.

-The Next Day-

I got out of bed without changing or anything. I walked out of my room and into the main room of the Man Cave to see Aubree yelling at Ray. I walked awkwardly towards them.

“Uh…hi guys…what are you guys fighting about?”

“Henry!” Aubree says and goes back to yelling at Ray.

“Ray, he loves this job more than anything! I can’t believe you just fired him!” Aubree yells.

“I can’t give him his job back Aubree”, Ray yells.

“You gave him his job back before, when Charlotte found out! Then you even gave her a job!”

“What, you expect me to hire Henry’s mom?” Ray yells then pauses. “Actually that’s not a bad idea…ah, his mom is so hot”, Ray whispers.

Aubree punches Ray in the arm. “Dude, NO!”

“What? I can’t call Henry’s mom hot?”

“Okay…1; Its Henry’s mom…2; you’re technically my dad! 3; she’s married for crying out loud!”

I put my hand up to my mouth and chuckle. I turn around for a split second to see Max walking in. “You guys are so loud! I could hear you from my room!” Max says walking to the Auto-Snacks machine.

“Max is right. You guys are really loud”, I laugh. I don’t know why I was so amused by this. I was still mad at Ray too though. “Dude, just give Henry the job back.”

“I’m not giving him his job back!” Ray yells. He was about to run away again when Max used his telekinesis to fly him back over to Aubree and I.

“Ray, please…please, give him his job back. He needs this job”, Aubree pleads.

“No Bree”, Ray sighs. Ray looks at Max for a second. “Did you get your powers back?”

“Just my telekinesis”, Max says smirking.

Ray turns his attention towards Bree again. “Bree, I’m sorry. But it’s not going to happen.”

“What is Captain Man going to say to everyone about Kid Danger leaving?” I say crossing my arms.

“Kid Danger quit…duh”, Ray said making a stupid face.

“Ray, that won’t work! People love Henry, you can’t let everyone down saying he quit!” Aubree said. Aubree gave Ray these huge puppy dog eyes and a quivered lip.

“Fine! I’ll see what I can do!” Ray sighs.

“Thank you so much Ray!” Aubree says.

“How are so good at this Bree?” Ray asks raising an eyebrow.

“I was born with it”, she smirks.

Now, we just have to tell Henry.
