I wake up in a white room. People are staring at me with worried expressions set on their faces.

I look around an feel sharp pains shoot through my head. I can't catch the groan that escapes my mouth.

Bonnie sits down next to me and strokes my hand. It's comforting and I drift back asleep.

I wake up again and the room is empty and dark. I can hardly see the end of my bad. I move slightly but pain surges through me every time I do.

"Mikaylee?" a deep voice cracks from somewhere in the darkness. I recognize it immediately as Kian Lawley. My best friend from back home.

"Kian?" I answer.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah just got some headaches. What are you doing here?"

"I heard you'd blacked out and couldn't imagine not visiting. I wouldn't forgive myself if I never saw you again."

Never see me again? Was it really that bad a fall? I can't even remember.

"How long have I been out?" I ask him.

"It's been 2 weeks. Good way to start the year."

I feel his smile through the darkness and laugh I bit but stop abruptly as I am overtaken by pain.

"Easy, easy " Kian says and comes over to me to comfort me.

Suddenly the door cracks open and light flows into the room. I squint as my eyes adjust to the new lighting. My eyes finally give in to the light and I make out a dark figure standing in the doorway. Oh no...
