Cameron Dallas. How would've guessed? My bitter ex boyfriend.
He looks at Kian and I before strutting over to a position on the left of my bed.
"You not dead yet?" He laughs.
I'm not sure if it's a funny or mean.
Kian stands up cautiously and steps in between me and Cameron protectively.
"Woah big guy. No need to get defensive. Just making a joke" Cameron says as he backs away.
"What are you doing here?" I ask him.
"Wanted to see if my baby was ok that's all" he smiles
"Which one?"
"What? You know that was all a hoax. I'd never cheat on you, baby"
"Oh really. Because that's not the answer I got off your 'cousin'" I spit at him.
He looks hurt but I don't care.
"Leave" Kian says, "Leave".
"Alright. Fine. I don't need you. I've got Jessica anyway. And she's way hotter than you" Cameron says as he storms out of the room slamming the door behind him.
I burst into tears. Pain continues to stab at me but it is numbed by the new pain in my heart.
*flashback*
"I can't believe you!" I scream at the one who just broke my heart. He stands pressed against the tree with his hands around the waist of another girl.
"Mikaylee?" He looks scared.
"I can't believe you!" I repeat as I storm off.
*end of flashback*He was my first ever boyfriend. I thought it was serious but I guess it's right. Men only ever want one thing. And that's not the heart.
Kian calms me down and hugs me. He strokes my head until I stop sobbing.
When my traumatic stage has passed Kian stands up to leave.
"No" I say.
And so he sits back down and clutches my hand in his until we both drift off to sleep.
