Seriously how can this guy be late!?

Saffy tapped her foot impatiently and then paced around the area. The spot where they were supposed to meet was under the bridge, near a lake. Saffy stopped pacing around and looked at the lake.

The stars shined brightly as they spread across the dark blue sky, the moonlight fell on the smooth surface of the lake. Saffy walked towards it. A small smile curled up on her lips as she stared at her reflection on the water. Reminiscing some of the memories of her 10th birthday, she chuckled.

'Wish I could live them again..' she thought as she imagined her ten-year-old running around, trying to catch others as they all laughed. Her father was making preparations for the next game while her mother was busy with the children's parents. If only she could live those memories again, but is it even possible? Time can't go back... But can it be revived? Is there a way? Saffy shook her head at those thoughts.

What's taking him so long?

A sudden uneasy feeling rose as she became stiff. She stood still as she observed her surroundings. Something was out of place, she could feel it. She casually turned around and started walking with her hands in her pocket. While in reality, she grabbed the cutter she had brought and kept it hidden inside her pocket.

Is it him?
Or the killer?
Way to make me feel great

Her eyes scanned around the area and focused more on shadows.

"Come out," Saffy spoke up with confidence. It surprised her, where did the confidence come from? She just stared blankly. Someone finally came out, but not from the area she suspected. But the moment she looked at that figure, she froze.

No one was there, no one was seen.

Saffy looked around confused and alert. She swore she saw someone coming out, but now she couldn't see anyone nearby.

She felt a presence behind her as she turned around. Her eyes widen when she saw a man looking down upon her and observing her. He had short black hair and a deep, ridged black eye-line circling his pinprick brown eyes.

"So you're Saffy."

She was shocked and alert at the same time. It reflected on her face for only a mere second. The man observed her moments and reactions. Saffy thought this guy could predict any moment she could have made. If she was the same as before.

Unpredictable to even herself, she looked the guy in the eyes and spoke.

"It's rude not to introduce yourself."

"Lovro Brovski. Where is your father?" He asked as his eyes scanned the area.

"He is not here with me."

"Where is he?"

"Heaven? Hell? I wonder." Saffy said sarcastically.

"We had a deal, you agreed to answer to questions I will ask. So speak up. Where is your father?"

If things go this way... I wouldn't get what I want. And I can't let it happen. Think Saffy think.

"The deal was to answer, I did. I don't know where he is."

"What do you want from my father?"  Saffy asked before Lovro could reply.

"I am not obliged to answer." He mocked her. Saffy gave him a murderous smile.

"Oh yes, you are. I would answer your question when you answer mine. And I need an honest answer which I did not know. The way you answer mine will be the way I'll answer yours. Plus don't forget, I have seen the killer. So I know it's somehow related to him-" Saffy took a deep breath and she looked into Lovro directly in the eyes," I want to know, what mission is this which you speak of?"
