KV ki Love Story

The flight journey

Last few months have been very hectic for KV. His serial is the number 1 serial on TV. He has a crazy fan following. Fans love to see him on screen... so he also has maximum scenes to shoot. Plus all the tv news and media channel are always requesting him for interviews. So even if he gets free from shoots.. he is obliging them for the interviews. But he is not complaining. He is loving all the love and fame he is getting. He regularly engages himself in getting live with fans.. and interacting with them on social media. He loves his fans and respects their love towards him. However he is also longing for a short break. He decides to speak to his director.

KV - Hi sir..i was thinking of taking a short break. Can you have some angle in story line so that i can have a week or 10 days break.

Director - but you know the viewers like seeing you. If you will not be there.. the production house will start receiving complains. Remember what happened when you had to be on break due to covid.

KV - i know that.. but i am too exhausted.. if i don't take a break it will start affecting my performance. I have a media event to attend in London in next week. That is a 1 day affair. Post that i am thinking of extending my stay there for a week. I think that will really help me get back with full force.

Director - (understanding that he really wanted this break)...ok. give me 1 day...i will confirm you tomorrow.

Somehow KV managed to convince the director and the production house and was ready for his solo vacation.

He created some bank of episodes and left the shoot a little early on Saturday as he had to complete his packing for the Sunday morning flight.

He left for airport in the morning. He boarded the flight on time and when he went to his seat there was no other passenger sitting on the remaining two seats. He had a window seat.. so he took his seat and made himself comfortable. He was hoping to have some interesting co passenger with whom he could strike a conversation to kill time as it was a long journey. KV liked talking to strangers as he believed that people who do not know you are often unbiased in their opinions and do not judge you based on the conversations you have with them. People who know you already have a picture of you in their minds and any thing that you say which does not match with their picture.. they start judging you for your thoughts and actions.

In 5 minutes he saw a girl walking towards his seat. The girl did not look at him as she was busy on her phone while she took the isle seat.

The girl - (continuing her conversation on phone) i think i will now need to disconnect the call as the flight is almost ready for take off. Ok bye.

Saying this she disconnected her call... but continued fiddling with her phone.

In some time the flight attendants started with their in flight guidelines. It is then that she put her phone down and fastened her seat belt.

KV was observing her through out. He thought to himself - she looks like some college kid... what conversation will i have with her... anyways these college students are always into their phones. They don't need anyone when they are with their phones. I think this journey is going to be boring.

The flight took off and the girl was reading a random magazine lying in front of her. KV was also getting super bored... he is used to a very active lifestyle. Sitting quiet for such long made him fidgety. As the girl put down the magazine, he thought of initiating some conversation... he thought he will ask for the magazine she was reading.

KV - excuse me..

The girl - yes... saying this she turned towards KV... and the moment she saw him she was dumb struck.

KV - can i have that magazine..

The girl - still not fully believing her eyes... and keeping her gaze fixed at KV... hands him over the magazine and asks - are you shaurya sabarwal??

KV - (feeling somewhere proud that she could recognize him) ... shaurya???No..i am not.. (he thought of having some fun)

Girl - oh!! But you look absolutely like him..so i thought... anyways i am sorry..i thought u were shaurya...(she is still confused in her mind)

KV - (laughing in his mind)....ok..so you speak to only those people whose name is shaurya??

Girl - no no..its not like that..i mean u look like him...u sound like him...so i m confused... but anyways...hi..i am vanya..

KV - hi i am karanvir..

Girl - (face palming herself in mind) - uff!! I meant that only...by shaurya i meant karanvir only..see i told you that you look and sound like him..how can i be wrong about you...i watch every episode.. i love you so much...i mean i love your character shaurya so much...

KV who was liking her cute banter...okay okay...i am sorry..i knew what you meant when u said i am shaurya..i just thought of having some fun...by the way nice meeting you..its actually always great to meet a fan. (KV was used to girls saying i love you to him, he knew it was just fan love and dint mean anything.)

Vanya - now feeling a little comfortable seeing how casual KV was...thanks. its nice to meet you too.

KV - so what takes you to london..or are you from london only..

Vanya - no no..i stay in mumbai..i work with an MNC...so i have a meeting to attend at their london office tomorrow. And then i thought ki first time i am going to london..so i will stay back there for few days and see london.

KV - you work?? Wow!! You look like a college student at max..i mean i hope you don't get offended by that..

Vanya - no no...i get that alot.. because of my short height and petite structure.. people often make that mistake. Its ok. But i am a chartered accountant and i work as a financial analyst in an MNC.

KV - ohh thats great... good to know that.

Vanya - are you going to London for some shoot.

KV - no i have a media event to attend there tomorrow. And then i have decided to give myself a week's break to unwind myself.

Post that KV and Vanya gelled very well and continued their random talks through out the journey.
