KV ki Love Story

The Proposal

The next day KV calls up Vanya very early in the morning. He asks her to get ready a little early today as they would be going for a day trip to country side today. So they would need to leave a little early.

KV was looking forward to the day very eagerly. One because it was going to be a long drive to the country side.. so he will get to spend some quality time with her. And second because he loved going to country side and found it very relaxing and peaceful.

After picking up vanya.. they started off with their usual conversations.

KV - achha waise maine abi tak poocha hi nai...tum waapas kab aur kis flight se jaa rai ho.

Vanya - meri Saturday morning ki flight hai. At 9 o clock.

KV - arre why did you take Saturday flight. Office to Monday se hai.. you could have taken Sunday flight. Main to sunday ko hi jaa raha hun. Extend kara sakti ho abi bi tum.

Vanya - no no.. actually i have to reach on Saturday. Sunday ko ghar ke kaam grocery shopping and all nai kiya to next week bhooke rehna padega... and mujhe 1-2 aur bi kaam hai. So i need to go on Saturday.

KV was hoping to travel back with her so he got a little disappointed. Also today KV was looking at her differently. He observed what she was wearing.. how she kept her hair.. how she has a habit off playing with her hair. How she moves her eyes alot when she talks.. everything about her was attracting him.

KV - tum mumbai me kahan rehti ho?

Vanya - santacruz. I know you stay in Bandra.

KV - yes i know i know..tum koi choti moti fan nai ho.. full stalker ho..and they both burst out into laughter.

After a long drive they reach a beautiful village. The air the beauty the old world charm mesmerises Vanya. The romantic girl in her is already in her dreams. She is watching everything with a twinkle in her eyes. Through out the day they roam around the village, visit church, spend timen near small lakes and rivers.. they go to a pub for lunch. A live band was playing old country music. They enjoyed the lunch and music so much that they stayed there for two hours. They spent their evening near the river side.

While they were sitting there...a lot was going on in KV's mind. He wasnt sure that he loved her but knew for sure that he liked her and he wanted to spend more time with her.. even when they were back in Mumbai. With a thought in his mind he asked her...

KV - kal ka kya plan hai tumhara..kahan chalna hai.

Vanya - kahin nai..kal tum free ho.

KV - matlab?? Kal hotel me time waste karne waali ho tum.

Vanya - no no..i will check out from hotel tomorrow morning. Kal Friday hai..so i am going to my cousins place. She has taken an off tomorrow. Raat ko i am staying at her place and wahan se saturday morning flight. So ab Friday and Saturday you can have your own plans...

KV - arre no...kal i wanted to show you something very nice... so cancel your plan with your cousin tomorrow.

Vanya - no KV ...i can't do that.. she has taken an off for me.. she will feel bad... and plus i also want to meet her.. she has a 4 year old son...i am so excited to meet him. Remember that day we also bought a gift for him.

KV saw all his plans getting ruined. After a lot of thought he said..

KV - ok tum kal 2 hours ke liye kuchh bahaana banake nikal jaana.. tell her you have to meet a friend...i am sure that is possible. Kal evening me only 2 hours. Common.. you can manage this.

Vanya - ok. I will try.

Next day vanya checks out of the hotel and reaches her cousins place. They have lot of chats about old times..vanya had brought some ghar ka Indian food like mathri ladoo for her.. (every Indian does this). Vanya plays with her nephew. Vanya tells her cousin what all places she saw in last 3 days, but does not mention anything about KV.
