Miserable.
The feeling Korekiyo was enduring for the past few days as the week progressed. Because of the argument he had with his found lover, the two haven't been talking much or going on their rather long strolls across the strip malls and pastry stores like they use to.
Let alone they didn't even go to the get together Kokichi had mentioned at the library, he had let the smaller boy down instantly.
What a great first impression to make a friend.

Unlucky for him,Korekiyo didn't even have the purplenette's contact listed in his phone, meaning their meet up and encounters would most likely never happen again, this saddened Korekiyo deeply, he wasn't prepared to make a friend just to have them ripped away by his beyond frustrated fiancé.
Crossing his legs on the couch, Korekiyo waited for Kaito to come home from work, yet he never did.
Impatient as always the anthropologist got up and gathered some of his belongings before heading out the front door and walking down to the strip malls and busy street himself.

As if some miracle upon walking in a pastry shop downtown, Korekiyo was greeted in seeing the group of friends and Kaito himself. Seeing Kokichi included as well as a green haired individual.

"Ah, Kaito I didn't think you'd be here you didn't tell me.." Kiyo started to approach them peacefully,  noting how Kokichi turned to look at him, mischief and playfulness gleaming in his eyes.

"Well, I just wanted it to be a friend night is all with my buds. Here's Kokichi, and that guy over there ordering is Rantaro." He pointed to both the boys.

"Hiya! Nice to meet you again stranger!" Kokichi held out his hand, Korekiyo looking a bit uncomfortable at the tense situation,

"Hello there, it's wonderful to see you," offering a warm smile, the anthropologist took his seat beside Kokichi in hopes to be somewhat far from his fiancé.

Rantaro turned sharply, a tray in his hands as he made his way to the table, seeing as now there was a new member to their hangout,
"Oh sorry, I didn't notice you were there, you're Kaito's fiancé right? Korekiyo? It's nice to meet you, I'm Rantaro Amami, but I'm sure you already knew that." The green haired boy chuckled awkwardly and set the tray down in the center
"Here let me go grab you something, what would you like?"

"You don't have to but, if you are wondering, I would love a hot chocolate please."

"Got it, comin' right up" he offered Korekiyo a small smile before heading back to the front to order

Turning his back, Korekiyo then saw Kokichi devouring what seemed to be some type of cake and Kaito just stirred his coffee seeming unimpressed with both of them there.

"So I didn't know you had a fiancé—" Kokichi talked with his mouth full, some crumbs making it's way falling onto the plate.

"Hehe, yes I do, I suppose I didn't mention that whenever we did meet. I was too focused on teaching you about different things about your project I sort of got caught up in things"

Kaito's eyebrows perked at this, project? Choking on his coffee suddenly, the astronaut cleared his throat and looked away with his cheeks flamed red, god was he embarrassed.
Had he really accused his fiancé of cheating on him with Ouma? That's ridiculous! He should have just let Korekiyo finish explaining his side of the story whenever they did have that argument few days prior.
Furrowing his brows afterwards, Kaito felt ashamed in himself, being somewhat pissed that he accused Korekiyo to begin with, he decided he'd apologize fully and make it up to him whenever they were home.

With all this thinking going on, the other didn't realize that his fiancé and Ouma were currently having a wild conversation, Korekiyo chuckling every so often at one of the dumb jokes Kokichi would make.
Rantaro arrived at the table once again and sat the hot chocolate in front of Korekiyo before having his own seat and enjoying his tea.

"Thank you very much, I appreciate this.."

"Hey uh, Kaito if it's alright with you should we add him in the group chat? It's a friend thing but since you're with Kaito and all I'm sure nobody would mind." Rantaro offered and before the other could respond, Ouma snagged Korekiyo's phone and began inputting the group chat as well as his own contact in his phone, labeled 'Ouma💜'.
This made Korekiyo's cheeks fluster up a shade of reddish pink.

And with their hangout session over, Kaito took Korekiyo home and they all parted ways.
Entering the apartment he shared with his lover was quite different, Kaito suddenly hugging him and saying a million times how sorry he was, giving his fiancé squeezes every now and then of showing signs of not letting go of that hug any time soon.
Korekiyo smiled as tears streamed down his face, leaning a bit downwards to peck his lover's lips

"I forgive you, don't worry..and don't worry either about making it up to me, it was a complete misunderstanding and it'll be alright.." the anthropologist held the astronauts hands softly and began giving them rubs
Though secretly in the back of his mind he was wishing they were someone else's hands
