The One that Got Away (Oh Yoon Hee x Ha Yoon Chul) *DISCONTINUED*

Chapter 8: Music

Five years have already passed by since Oh Yoon Hee's death
(Three years since the Yoon Chul and Ro Na left South Korea to start a new life at New York),

Ha Yoon Chul is now a successful businessman in and out of Korea. His relationship with his daughter Bae Ro Na, now Ha Ro Na since they changed her name before flying abroad, is now good. They're living outside South Korea due to his business and Ro Na's studies.  Yoon Chul's business is doing great abroad, they even expanded it aside from the pharmaceutical before. Ro Na is still studying Medicine at a prestigious university and is currently now on vacation break from studies as they will return to South Korea. She is actually doing great as a medicine student, her father helps her with her studies sometimes.

The plane landed at Incheon International Airport, A lady with medium length ash blonde hair walks down the stairs. She is wearing a Leather pants, white shirt and a jacket. She wore her shades as she walks towards the entrance of the lobby, the wind blows her hair softly. She turned around and said "Oppa Palli."

"Wait, I am waiting for your Appa" Je Ha said, he is still Ro Na's security but they've grown closer as he is with them through the years. Yoon Chul wore his branded signature black suit clothing and black sunglasses as he walks down the stairs.

They arrived in South Korea on the day of Oh Yoon Hee's death anniversary. As soon as they landed, they immediately visited her grave. They bought flowers on the way there. Ro Na's eyes is set on the car windows as she is observing her surroundings.

"Everything has changed." she thought as she put back her sunglasses on and fell on a nap while on the way to her mom's grave.

"Eomma, My beautiful eomma. Ro Na is here. How are you? Bogoshipoyo." Ro Na said as she knelt in front of her mother's grave stone removing the dead leaves on the thombstone.

"Yoon Hee ah, we came back. Did you miss us? I miss you Yoon Hee ah" Yoon Chul said as he placed the flowers on the grave.

"Eomma I'm studying medicine, I will become a doctor like Appa. hmm Appa teaches me from time to time when I did not understand some of what was written on his notes before. hmm I am still trying my best to continue singing." 

They stayed there for hours just telling a lot of stories about what happened while they're staying overseas. They're now headed to Hera Palace to check their old unit.

They entered through the front entrance. They bumped into Min Hyuk's parents.

"Ha Yoon Chul?" Min Hyuk's father said

"Oraenmanida, Lee Gyu Jin -ssi" Yoon Chul said as he removed his sunglasses

"Why are you here ? And who is this?" Gyu Jin said

Ro Na removed her sunglasses and fixed her hair and said "Annyeonghaseyo, Ahjussi, Ahjumma"

"Bae Ro Na?" Sang A said

Cheon Seo Jin was walking from the elevator towards the commotion. 

"Its Ha Ro Na now." Yoon Chul said

The couple's jaw dropped in disbelief.

"What?" Cheon Seo Jin scoffed
"You really did it now. Ha Yoon Chul" she added

"Anyway we're not here for any trouble. We are just here to check our unit." Yoon Chul said

"Unit?" Gyu Jin asked

"If you may excuse us." Yoon Chul smiled and walked past them while Ro Na walked behind him as well as Je Ha.

They arrived in front of their unit. Yoon Chul opened the door. All the furniture is covered in white cloth. The photo frame at the living room as well, Ro Na walked towards the frame and unveiled it. She smiled as memories of her and her mom's flashback before her eyes.

"Do you want to live here, Ro Na ya?" her father asked.

"Aniyo Appa, I am fine with our house. There are a lot of good memories here but there are also a lot of bad ones. I don't want to cause trouble here too." Ro Na said and his father patted her head.

After spending an hour there checking this and that, they decided to go home as the staff were on their way to deliver their baggage from the airport to their house at Hannam-dong. Yoon Chul hired several maids from a trusted agency to clean the house and hired more security before their arrival.

"Whoaa home at last." Ro Na said happily as they enter the house

"Welcome Sir and Ahgassi" The maids and security personnel lined up to welcome them

They thanked the maids and security for taking care of the house. Ro Na saw their photo in frame hanging at the living room's wall. She wore the blush pink gown her father bought for her in that photo, she sat on the pretty chair like a princess as her father stood beside her. It is their family photo. It would look more perfect if only her mom was there in the photo.

She looked for her bags from the baggage that just arrived and asked for help politely from the maids to bring it upstairs. She rummaged through her things and rearranged her room. She also bought gifts for her friends here even if she lost contact from them as she lost her old phone overseas. She has no idea that Seok Hoon is now engaged to a politician's daughter because of Joo Dan Tae's scheme. After that they ate their dinner and rested for the night.

The next morning Ro Na woke up late and Yoon Chul already left for work. She decided to take a walk. She dressed as her usual clothes black jacket, pants and shirt. She also wore her black sunglass. She ended up at Seoul University where she bumped to an old friend who does Modern Music. She told her that  today is the start of the music festival at Seoul University. And the top student of the classical music department, Ha Eun Byul, was the opening performer. Curious as to what her sister prepared she then decided to watch the show before going to other places. 

Eun Byul practiced hard day and night with her mom. She wore a beautiful black gown. She walked towards the stage, stood in the middle and faced the audience. Her mom left the country last night for her concert at Japan. She was about to sing the piece "Les oiseaux dans la charmille" or The Doll's song, when she saw a familiar face in the audience. She has not taken her medicine for years now ever since her nemesis is not around. She saw her sitting in the middle of the crowd removing her sunglasses.

The music started and she just stood there not knowing what to do,  The people start to murmur as to why she ain't starting despite the music. She opened her lips and everything went pitch black. 

At some hospital in Seoul, life support machines were heard inside a SVIP suite room at the top floor of the hospital. A woman with long black hair, wearing a white dress has been in a comatose state for years now. She is known as the sleeping beauty by the medical staffs on the floor in that said hospital.

Who might this woman be?
