It was cold thursday morning when the car finally pulled up onto the drive.
"Oooo a carriage, new friends!!" a high pitched voice exclaimed.
"I wouldn't get you're hopes up Kitty, last time it was a funeral car" a deeper, more proper voice replied.

As car doors slammed shut two figures stood, in awe of the house before them. The red bricks smiled at the pair. Mossy vines covered the walls and old glass windows, they definitely haven't been cut in a while. The wind danced around the gravel courtyard like the past occupants of the manor.
"God it's cold, should we go in?" the taller of the pair said to the smaller one.
"Well we don't get much of a choice do we?" Margo replied.
"Here take the keys, I'll be there in a moment, I just need to get some things from the car"

Margo slowly walked up to the grand wooden door, holding the keys tight in her hand. 'Here goes nothing' she thought, as she opened the door. After taking a deep breath, she stepped into the hall, and was immediately met by eight ghostly looking people.
"Mum! Are you sure we're at the right house?" Margo called out to the car, but seemingly wasn't heard by her mum.
"I think she can see us" the tall man wearing a military uniform said.
"She's gorgeous"
Margo turned around immediately "I- I'm sorry?"
"And she can hear us too. Well done Thomas"
"I didn't know!" the brown haired gentleman replied, with a quiver in his voice.
"Please do forgive me if I'm being rude, but who the hell are you lot?"
