Chapter 7

Apollo POV:

It had been a week since Tom's death, i still wasn't over it but i was slowly getting better. Max has been there for me so much. Today i was going to the Mall with Alex to go Christmas shopping.

"Sooo, what's going on with you and Max? You seem really close" Alex pestered me as we walked

"Nothing, we're just friends" I told them

"I don't beleive that 1 bit, but I will leave it" 

"Thank you"

We walked and gossiped about everyone in our school and our lives, we went past a shop that i saw something in the window for Max (AN: Should i call him max throughout this is ranboo, i was planning on calling him ranboo once Apollo found out it's him, can you guys lmk if i should change them or not?)

"Hey, i'm just gonna go in here" I told her

"Oki, it looks boring so i'm gonna wait out her" She laughed

I went into the store and found the present for Max, i went up to the counter and payed for it. I picked the little bag up and walked out the store

"Yo, i'm hungry, can we get food?" Alex asked after seeing me walk out

"Erm yea sure" I said

We walked to the food court seeing McDonald's, Taco Bell, Burger King, Pizza Hut and Subway

"I'm gonna get McDonald's, you?" They told me

"Yeah same" 

We waited in the queue to order

"next please" the worker called

The worker had green and black shoulder length curled hair, eyeliner on, piercings and an amazing sense of style.

"H- hi" Alex stuttered as i held back a laugh "Apollo you go, i need to think what i need" 

"Ok, hi can i have 6 nugget meal please with a fanta and some mozzerella sticks please" 

"yeeep, are you ready to order?" She asked looking up at Alex

"Er yea?" Alex asked, phrasing it more of a question than a statement

"Go on" 

"Can i have a bigmac meal please, sprite. And- if it's not too much to ask could i also... like have you... num-ber please?" Alex stuttered out

I was trying to hard not to laugh at Alex's attempt at getting girls

"Yea sure, i'll write it on your reciept" They said writing it down

"Thanks"

We went to sit down, we both started laughing and celebrating Alex getting a girls number, we sat ate and talked for half an hour until i got a call from my mum

"Hello" I said answering the phone

"Where are you young lady?" My mother yelled through the phone

"I'm at the mall, with Alex. I told you a few days ago, and i told you i was going out earlier. You said it was ok so did dad" I replied 

"Don't talk back to me young lady, get home right now and when you're home you're grounded, and don't be thinking you're keeping your phone on you" She said hanging up on me

I looked at my phone in shock, my dad was on a buissness trip for a week, she never acted like this before. Atleast not this bad.

"i need to go" I said picking my stuff up

"Ok, byee" Alex said

I ran home, dreading opening my door. I just stood in front of it, waiting to go into hell
