Summer Job (Anglade x reader)

Chapter 4

Anglade point of view

It's currently around 12 o'clock so I thought to get some lunch for (y/n) to eat. 'First I should call her and ask what she wants to eat.'

*Phone ringing*

(Y/n)- Hello

Hey, I was wondering what you want for lunch. I was going to pick up something on my way to visit. -Me

-Sure. If you could can you get me something from (favorite fast food) please.

-Okay. Oh and is Umi with you right now? I was going to bring him something too.

-Yea hold on for a second... Umi has a friend with him and his brother, and they want food from the same place. So five orders.

-Okay. Coming right up.

-Thank you so much. And keep the receipt so I can pay you back.

-You don't have to pay me back. Your so sweet. Well, see you soon.

-Okay and thank you again. Bye.

-Bye. My little sunflower.

*Call ended*

I end the call and put my phone in my pocket. I enter my car and drive to the fast food restaurant to order. 'So, Sora is already our the hospital and with (y/n). And I wonder who's their new friend?' I thought as I drive down the road.

(Y/n) point of view

I end the call and put away my phone. "So how did you and professor Anglade meet each other?" Sora asked and layed on top on Umi on the side of the tank. "I went to enjoy the view of the ocean before I went home for the day and saw him."

I finished up my first task of the day and move on to the next. Ruka, Umi, and Sora left in a hurry outside of the back of the building.

*Few minutes later*

"Hey (y/n)." I turned around and saw one of my coworkers call for me. "Someone is here to see you." I nod and quickly putting away my papers.

I exit the employee area and see Anglade out side the door with lunch. "Hey sunflower. Ready for lunch." I agree but for got to tell my boss I'm taking a lunch brake. "Oh snap, sorry. I forgot to tell my boss that I'm going on a lunch break. Hold on a sec."

He waits patiently and I go back in. I enter where Mr. Azumi usually is but he wasn't there. I turn to my other coworkers and let them know that I'm on break.

"Thanks for waiting patiently." I says after I came out again. He pushes himself off the wall and says "no problem."

We walk a little to head up to the rooftops. We sat down on a small bench and started to eat. "Do you know where Umi and Sora are with their friend. These were for them." Anglade said and bit into his food.

I swallow the last piece of food in my mouth and respond with me seeing them exiting the back of the building. I look out at the view of the beach as it's waves made music when hitting the rocks. The sky was clear with no cloud in view. 'Would be a nice day for a swim.'

After a while we finish our food and head back down. I enter the coworkers lunch area and put a sticky note with the boys and Ruka's name on it. So when they get hungry it's there for them.

For the rest of my break we walked around the aquarium and enjoyed the life of the animals swimming around. Anglade phone vibrated. He picked up the call and ended it quickly.

"There's an emergency that Umi, Sora, and Ruka are missing and took one of the boats from out back. My boss needs me ASAP. See you until next time, my little sunflower." Anglade said. I said goodbye before he left the building.
