Summer Job (Anglade x reader)

Chapter 9

Anglade point of view

While the boys were helping me with the food the girls where having their own girl talk. We couldn't hear what they were saying but can with the conclusion it's a girl thing.

I hear (y/n) squeal and Ruka looking away. I watch (y/n)'s eyes sparkle from the sun hitting her eyes and how happy she looks. Every time I'm with her I fell so relaxed and happy. Especially with helping the boys and make sure they're safe it's been kind of stressful. But she makes my day bright and helps me distress.

"Hello, Anglade. Are you going to keep on daydreaming about her." Sora snapped in-front of my face. "Yea sorry." We finish up the food. (Y/n) and Ruka got out some plates and silverware, and layed out another blanket for us to sit on.

After we were done eating, Ruka and I walked out to look at the ocean. Ruka walked in the water and noticed that it was glowing. "Hmm? Hey (y/n), look at this! The water is glowing!" I took off my shoes and stepped in the water too.

"I told you that this afternoon that something amazing was going to happen." Anglade said as he approached us. "Ah... the red tide?" "There are different types of red tides, but when it's bright red like that it's caused by a bloom of bioluminescent microorganisms."

We walked a little as the water glows. I squat down and played with the water with my hands. I see Anglade walk next me and him watching me. With me still looking down, Umi and Sora run past me to grab Ruka. But in the process got some water on we. It was a little cold so the touch of the water made me jump.

I backed up a little but bumped into Anglade. "Whoa! Ha they caught you by surprise didn't they?" I giggled and agreed. We walked back to the fire, but I felt something on my hand. I looked up and saw Anglade kind of looking away.

'Is he nervous to hold my hand. Cute.' I look down and took his hand. He looked at me, then our hands, then back at me. I looked at him and smiled. I wish it was brighter so I can see your cute blushing face. He looks away and pouts. I laugh and he soon joined.

"The stars are amazing." He says as we sit back down near the fire. "There are two Milky Ways. One in the sky and one in the waves." I start to feel tired as he talked more. He layed down on his back and pulled me along to rest my head on his chest.

"But there are only two things beautiful in this world that I have seen. How mysterious and beautiful the universe can be and you, my little sunflower." I move my head to where I meet eyes with him. His eyes reflected the stars. It really showed how dark his eyes were.

"So I'm beautiful to you?" I said. Anglade blushed at what he realized what he said. I sit up and so does he. "Yea, because... I like you (y/n)." He rubbed the back of his head and watched for my reaction.

Well if you could see my face I was shocked. I broke out of my shock and put together the words I was going to say. "I like you too Anglade." We sat in a comfortable silence for a while.

We looked at each other and thought of the same thing. We both leaned in and our lips touched. His lips were so soft and warm. The kiss last for a good while before we broke apart for some air. "(Y/n)?" I hummed in response. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" I jumped and hugged him in surprise and fell back. He hugged me back tight and took it as a yes.

I lay back down on his chest and listen to his heart beat. I close my eyes and start to drift off the sleep. Anglade probably notice and started to brush my hair with his hand. Everything was peaceful and quiet. "Love you." What the last thing I heard.
