[6] Winning plans

Octanes pov:

 I looked over at the big doors being opened for the winners, I was suprized by Wattson's active fight with me in the end of the game. I tried running away but i got shot and knocked. As i was lost in thought i didn't reilize that Wattson was walking over to me. She booped my nose and i flinched a bit being grabbed back to reality. "good job compadre, you did pretty good this game." I saw her face slightly turn red and i laughed. "Thanks, octy" She says smiling sweetly. I feel my heart beat a bit faster looking her up and down. "You plan on doing something for your win?" I ask. She thinks for a moment but shakes her head no. I light up knowing she has no plans (heres my chance to get to know her) I go to talk but i see that elliot has walked over and began to talk to Wattson about her win. "Yeah good job out there beautiful" He says winking at her. I go quiet, i feel a new feeling erupt in me. It made me mad at Mirage even though i didn't know exactly why. 

But my anger calms down as Renee comes up behind Mirage and slaps the back of his head. "Ow, what was that for?" He ask pouting. "Your making Wattson uncomfortable, now come on we have to talk" She says walking away with elliot. I scoot over beside Natalie once again "Damn, theres somthing def going on with them". I say. "Oh yeah they totally love each other" She says making a kissing sounds with her lips. I laugh at her joke and continue to joke around with her by my side. 

It felt nice to be able to just talk with her as friends without feeling something out of sadness or rage. I wanted this moment to continue forever, it felt nice. "Hey hermana, do you wanna like hang out later at my place?" I ask looking her in the eyes. "Oui, that would be lovely" She says blushing and smiling at me. My face begins to burn a bit but thankfully nobody can see because of my mask. "Hey Nat have you been around town yet? I mean if your gonna live here you might as well know what fun the city has ay?" I say with a smirk. She looks up at me "I would go out in the city but im to invested into my work" She says then looking down at her hands. "Oh come on amigo you have to take a break from your work some times!". "Oui, i know. But it's important i try my hardest to be strong in the mind." She said sighing. Did she really like her work? it was hard to tell.

"The thing is you shouldn't work so hard you fall asleep on your desk compadre" I mummble under my breath as i lean back and put my harms behind my head. I could tell she was thinking but then she pirked her head up and looked over at me. "How did you know that?" She asked with a suspicious look. I laughed "Who do you think put that blanket on you last night?" I asked. She blushed and put her head in her hands "I- .. I wasn't sure who put it there. I just thought Dr. Caustic did that.." She said mummbled by her hands. I give her a small chuckle and stretch my arms out.

It had been a few minutes but we had finally arived back at home, i looked over at the opening doors where a few legends stood waiting to get back to there places. A few people walked past us congaduating Natallie on her win and she thanked them all on there kindness. I rolled my eyes at everybody who passed. Eventually it was time for us to stand up and leave just for me to be stopped by Caustic. Natallie turned around and greeted him. "Hello Natalie, me and Octane will only be a minute." He says sternly. She smiled and nodded. "d'accord, see you guys later!" She says waving us goodbye. (please don't leave..) I give her one last look as she walks off the ship then im launched into a conversation with Caustic. "I beileve it's best if you leave Mrs. Paquette to her work." "I-" "She is a very smart individual, such as i, and doesn't need any people compromising her intellect." "..." I stood there quiet like an idiot.. I didn't know what to say, i didn't want him interfearing with me and Wattson's relationship. I could feel my first clench up every word he said. I wasn't  even dating this girl but i still felt very threatend by Caustic but can you blame me? "You are nothing more than another road block in Wattson's bright future." I felt my blood begin to boil. "You must understand this, you do have a brain don't you?" My teeth grinded together. "She's best, not with you." 

..That set me off i ran over to Caustic and leaped onto him hitting him rapidly. He pulled me off of his back and began to walk away holding his head, But i wasn't done with him yet. I ran over once again but was then grabbed by the throat and danngled off my feet. Caustic sighs and drops me down on my feet. "I would end you but.. she thinks to fondly of me. If Mrs. Paquette knew i killed you, she would never forgive me. I believe in her career, and i believe she will do what's best for herself.." He states standing tall above me. "..And i believe you will treat her with the kindness she desevers." Caustic finishes his sentence and leaves me there on the floor. I was a bit confused but i understood what he means. I stood up from the floor and exited the ship going my seprate way from Caustic.
