"Welcome, to Lady Adachi's Initiation into Tsukara." A young woman with long black hair spoke, the sound in her voice monotone.
She stood firm in the center of the dim lit room of scarlet provided by a single light bulb imbedded to the ceiling, her dead gaze examining the gathered pool of young persons among her.
"As of now, each and everyone of you who have come here tonight have decided to provide and serve under Lady Adachi. You have decided to play your role in this organization, and play it well you will, if you wish to receive your end of the contract." She continued. The crowd didn't offer anything but a stare as well as their undivided attention to the woman, being sure to stay quiet of themselves.
The woman lifted her hand as if she were offering something to them, a blink of her dull gray eyes. "The lot of you may be wondering as to why it is so simple to become apart of this organization, why no one was specifically chosen to work under us. That's because we already know why any of you would apply for such: Money, status, to do your part. You may not believe it, but all of you are identical to one another in the sense of a goal, here." She explained.
The crowd shifted glances amongst each other, again, not uttering a word. The woman waited a moment more before speaking again.
"But that matters not; Tsukara, as well as Lady Adachi herself will love each and everyone of you individually. All you have to do is show your loyalty to us through your portion of work, and we will show you our gratitude as giving... Though." The young woman trailed off for a moment, her hand lowering to her hip. With quickness, she revealed a firearm, pointing it and firing the weapon at a person in the crowd. Several times the person was struck, hitting multiple upper parts of the person's body, earning yells of terror from many in the crowd.
Without not so much as even a groan or cry, the person keeled over onto their back, still and lifeless.
The woman lowered the gun to her side, carrying the same blank expression as before. "—Let this be an example to those who don't provide for Tsukara during their required period; Disrespecting the organization means to disrespect Lady Adachi, and needless to say, we will not stand for such." She warned over the many anxious voices in the room.
"You're insane! You're just gonna shoot us, you crazy bitch?! I'm here to work for tha' money, not to put my life on tha' line!" A teenaged looking male cursed from amongst the crowd. He proceeded to shove through the others attending the initiation until he'd reached the old metal doors indicating the exit to the small building. With force, he kicked them open, wasting no time to leave the place in a hurry.
There was a silence among the room as the crowd of young teens and men older just barely in their mid twenties darted glances among one another... then, another person followed after the already departed formal member of the organization... And then another, and then another...
Before long, the room only consisted of one last person, a young boy who looked to be no younger than twelve whom hadn't budged from the spot he'd stood from since he had entered the initiation from the beginning.
The woman's gaze shifted to the boy who stood just inches from the person who was gunned down. She couldn't help but show some amusement on her face towards the display of courage ahead of her.
"So, you are the only one left? A boy?" She remarked, her black heels offering a muffled thump against the old carpet with her walk as she approached him. "Not that it matters, but do I hope you do comprehend what is at risk here: If you cannot amount to our business, or later decide you wish to exit Tsukara before you have provided in full, we will advance for everything you possess, even if it is your life that comes last; Wherever you go, your attempts will be futile." She explained, crouching down some to meet the boy's height.
She cocked her head to the side, her black bangs following her directional motion as she gazed with no light in her stare. "Do you not hold your life in high regard?" She questioned the boy.
The young youth stared back before offering eyes to the body that lay upon the floor, then back to the woman. The damage in the boy's spirit displayed well in his (E/C) eyes, rivaling even the woman's cold glance.
"I need... money. I can do anything for it... if it helps Kaa-san." He responded, voice scarcely audible.
The woman fell silent to the boy's response, before offering a small smile. She raised a tender hand against the boy's cheek, her soft fingers tucking just behind the boy's earlobe, caressing him. "Then, welcome to Tsukara."
Retreating her hand, she stood up once again. She glanced at the person who'd seemed to be dead all this time.
They were a small person, upper body dressed in one of those puffy winter coats which were currently ruined with bullet holes in the chest and abdominal region, and raggedy pants that went far passed the wearer's ankles.
"Kouma," the woman spoke at the corpse. "It's over, no more possum." She explained.
Suddenly, the once perceived as a murdered person rolled onto their side, proceeding to use their arms to hoist themself onto their feet. The person huffed as if they'd just exited the school gates on a early afternoon. Small hands protruded from the heavy jacket's sleeves as the person reached for the zipper's hold, unzipping the jacket and letting it fall to the floor carelessly, followed by a bulletproof vest.
The wearer was a young boy as well with a dark-brown tint to his skin, his face hard to make out due to his long dread-locks that would shield the majority of his facial features; it was only possible to make out his nose, lips and chin.
"We'll leave now." The woman explained to the two youth whilst heading for the exit of the small building, Kouma following suit.
Without word or even question, (Y/N) trailed after the two people. On that night, he'd agreed to serve Tsukara, and according to the agreement, Lady Adachi herself as an underling to provide illegal product to those who would pay, neighboring organizations, and even to the rich entrepreneurs who wouldn't dare set foot in Kegarhanzai in fear of risk to a bust.
In only ten consecutive years of (Y/N)'s life would he be able to retire freely from the Tsukara organization.

Hello readers. I'd like to apologize on my absence with this book. I plan to continue off of this and attempt to get in part ten by Tuesday the latest. This filler was made to patch up any confusion as to why (Y/N) was encountered at Paradise High by Tsukara memeber, or Adachi grunt. I hope this further interests you in the story and provides patience for any other following absences that may occur in the future. Just know I'm only trying to improve with each chapter I make.
Until next week. 😁
