"—I'll graduate from Paradise High, and then spread Kaa-San's ashes... By then I'll have nothin' left to lose; So, I'll brutalize every last member of Tsukara, and murder Lady Adachi in the same manner in which Kaa-San died," The teenager affirmed, "Even if my arms and legs are bullet filled and crushed, I won't stop even if I'm dead."

There was a silence between the two males, the cafe's  ambiance like other people talking, as well as music that was hardly audible to the ear serving as white noise.

"You know," Karma began, breaking the stillness at the booth. "One thing I can say I like about you is you've got a temper: I think everybody should have an extreme side to themselves, to let others know that you should not and cannot be crossed."

The teenager lifted his eyes to meet Karma's face, who's gaze was shifted to the large window which emitted natural light from the outside, implemented into the cafe's wall beside the two males.

"-But anger and stupidity doesn't mix." Karma tactlessly stated with an exhale as if he were bored.

The teenager's eyes widened at the red haired male's words. (Y/N)'s fists slowly clenched, his slightly trimmed nails digging into his palms as an effect.

"What?" (Y/N) began, his voice almost raising at its fullest; Yet, the teenager kept some of his composure. "—I'm stupid for wanting to avenge a loved one, someone I cared about?" The teenager argued, earning Karma's undivided attention once again.

"Don't get me wrong: I do feel bad for you, really." Karma firmly made clear, "And maybe it is true that you've got nothing else left to lose, but things are easier said than done on this messed up planet." Karma continued, "With that being said, can you say that you'll kill a person and follow through with it?"

The red haired male leaned over the table slightly to get a closer look at the hotheaded teenager's face, using the table as an arm rest to support his form. "Do you actually think a headstrong kid like yourself can develop a real lust for someone's blood?" Karma questioned, his once derisive tone currently a serious, and almost chilling one at that very moment.

(Y/N)'s eyes furrowed, his jaw tightly clamped behind his lips. The teenager wasn't liking the way Karma was belittling his resolve: He was convinced that he hated Tsukara for taking something irreplaceable from him, and he felt he knew that the anger he felt was sincere and would aid him in bringing an end to a life if need be; Though, beyond (Y/N)'s anger and everyday thoughts was the speck of an innocent boy, saddened by the death of both of his parents, saddened of the fact that the rest of his family out in the world, wherever they were, were not there for him without a reason why, and saddened that he was all alone in this situation and to fend for what he had left.

...(Y/N) couldn't find the words to go against Karma's observational speech.

"—You've told me enough for me to know that you have seen people die, and that you've suffered. But witnessing the killing and doing the killing are two different worlds." Karma stated whilst reverting to his original seating position. "A mindset like yours is only gonna lead you to a death with no meaning behind it."

"...Then what am I supposed to do, Just go on and live with the cards life has dealt me, and go about the rest of my days watching my back?" The teenager questioned the older male, the non-rhetorical side of (Y/N) genuinely seeking an answer from Karma.
