flashback

he was looking at the brunette with a fond look, smiling as jisung tried to talk to a squirrel.

"why won't you talk to me?"

the squirrel just looked up at him with a confused stare before trying to run away.

"hey- where are you going mister! come back!"

the squirrel just scurried away to the opposite direction.

minho giggled, "come on ji, did you except it to understand human language?"

jisung huffed, getting up from the ground as he grumbled, "still, it didn't respond to me!"

"it was probably confused. now let's go, it's getting dark."

they held hands and headed towards the exit of the park with satisfied smiles.

flashback ends

that was two years ago. jisung curled up on the floor and sobbed violently. he remembered how happy he used to be with his best friend before he met a florist.

lee felix. that was the florist's name.

flashback

"alright, you can do this." jisung told himself and stepped into the shop.

he went towards the main counter and his breathe hitched in his throat as he spotted an extremely handsome, freckled and blonde haired man sitting there.

fuck

he slowly spoke up,  "excuse me?"

the man looked up and gave him a smile that made jisung almost melt into a puddle.

"may i help you?"

god, that voice. it was deep yet so soothing and calm. it sounded like an angel guiding him through the gates of heaven.

"i- i was wanting to buy a bouquet of black roses."

he mentally cursed himself for  stuttering as the other guy got up and returned with two bouquets, one slightly bigger than the other and seemed more decorated.

"i'll take the left one."

the blonde nodded, that smile never wearing off his face, and placed the bouquet in front of him.

"1900 won."

jisung took out his wallet and handed him the money, his hand shaking slightly. just slightly.

"you're really cute." the florist spoke abruptly, eyeing the brunette fondly.

his head snapped up, bewildered as if he was daydreaming. he looked around himself but saw no one near.

his cheeks turned a bright shade of red. "t-thank you."

after a moment of silence, he bowed and turned around to walk away but he was stopped.

"hey! can i know your name?"

"han jisung. you?"

"lee felix."

flashback ends

that's how they met each other.

after that, jisung would make up excuses to go meet that florist. the first time, he and minho had an argument so jisung bought flowers as a form of apologizing since his best friend really liked black roses.

felix and him exchanged numbers after a week and would hang out at times, dragging minho along even though he refused to go because he didn't want to witness the tension between the two.

one month later, jisung realized his feelings for felix. he asked him out, gathering all the courage he had inside him. to his amazement and relief, the blonde had agreed.

little did he know, he was in deep shit.
