the next day when minho walked into the cafe, hyunjin smiled and waved at him but he really wasn't in a state where he could process the kind gesture and wave back so he just stared at the blonde and walked to his regular seat.

however, hyunjin wasn't a person who took such behavior to heart, he knew something was wrong with the other, he was considerate. instead, he decided to make minho his regular order along with a chocolate donut.

he brought the order to minho's table and saw how his eye widened in shock. "thank you but i didn't a-ask for a donut..."

"i know, sir. just thought i could give it to you to cheer you up." hyunjin didn't miss the small smile on the other's face.

"y-you can call me minho by the way." the brunette said, taking a small bite of the donut.

"oh uh, okay, minho." with that, hyunjin walked back to the counter.

minho didn't deserve such kindness, he was a coward, a selfish person. he didn't like how hyunjin was being sweet to him, he knew he would hate minho if he found what he did. yet, somewhere inside him, he was grateful. he didn't have anyone to care for him after jisung was taken away, he dealt with his shit alone but here was hyunjin who decided to approach him to ask if he was doing fine and gave him donuts. it reminded him of jisung, he was a considerate person and would never fail to make people smile.

a bubbly, soft and innocent person who had the most disgusting thing happen to him. he was the last person who deserved that, he was one of the kindest people out there. but maybe that was the reason he was abducted? felix took advantage of his innocence because he knew jisung would be easy to fool and would fall into his trap swiftly, or he was a psychopath. either way felix was a sick bastard.

a/n: i hate writing felix as the bad guy sfsffsfs

minho saw hyunjin walk towards his table again. he should've been fed up by now but he didn't want to push the only person who cared for him at that moment.

"do you need anything else, s-minho?"

"yeah uh another cup of coffee."

hyunjin smiled and turned around to walk away but minho stopped him, "uh excuse me, this is unrelated but as the manager why are you taking the orders?"

"oh, i like to help my employees, there's a lot of customers here so i give a hand in helping."

'what the fuck' minho thought. "uh, okay, that's great."

the brunette wanted to cry, every thing about hyunjin reminded him of jisung, except the tall part of course. such kind souls, who deserved nothing but happiness. he felt even bad now, he was selfish and wimpy yet they were generous to him.

he felt the sudden urge to hurt himself, he got up and rushed to the washroom. locking himself in a cubicle, he sat on the floor and wheezed. tears ran down his face without a break, he didn't want to live, life was worthless without his best friend. a person like him didn't deserve to live, didn't deserve people being kind to him. he pulled at his hair, desperate to harm himself but he didn't have any object that would help him so he started scratching at his previous cuts making them reopen and bleed. it hurt but that's what he wanted.

after a while, he remembered his order so he washed the blood off his arm and covered it, walking out like nothing happened. his coffee was already on the table, probably served long ago.

he sat down, his face giving away nothing, expression. he was there alone in the crowd with his mind full of evil voices.
