The weather was becoming colder, even though at the seashore the ocean breeze made it seem colder than what it really was. The Prince was looking at the waves crash, sitting on the porch of the only, old, wooden hostel in the entire port-city. Ships came in filled with cargo, fish, slaves... Though no ship looked like the one he was looking for.
He didn't saw that black and orange pirate flag anywhere near his sight. He was being impatient, he had told them to come tomorrow but still wanted them to show up today.

On his mind run tons of worries; Was the letter delivered? Did they decide to leave him behind? Did Hongjoong, all along, did not want to be with him, in any king of way? Did his father attack the ship? Did Yeosang killed someone he shouldn't have?

He couldn't answer any of that, he could just pray to a God he no longer believed in. Reciting all the prayers of vows he had have to memorise and recite since he was a kid.

His hands were clapped together, his mind mouth knew the words by muscle memory, "Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his hea—"

He stopped himself. Why was he praying when he knew no God wouldn't help a sinner like him? Someone who betrayed his family, someone who learnt other ways of love and respect, someone who was finally able to be free... Freedom. He was free. He wasn't trapped in between walls of a Castle or in the wine cellars of a ship.

But this feeling was not knew, he now recognized it. He had had felt this before, this liberating feeling of doing what you wanted when you wanted. He couldn't avoid it, and the moment came to mind...

The two boys looked at the sea, a cup of grog on each of their hands as they sat on barrels. It was already their second one, and although for Hongjoong it wasn't enough to make him drunk, Seonghwa wasn't so sure about having a third one. The shorted said something he doesn't remember, bue he recalled the chuckle that came out after Seonghwa's comentary. Angelic, maybe, how his eyes shrinked and his cheeks got rounder.

"You're cute," The taller said, pointing directly at him.

"And you're drunk, better not finish that." Hongjoong suggested.

"Aye aye Captain," The man said, but instead of following his orders, he drank it all in one go.

"What did I just tell you?"

"I'm a Prince, I can do whatever I want. No pirate shall hold me from drinking, no peasant should enter my castle, no slave should step on my shoe." He said getting up with a challenging gaze and having to pull his drunk self together to not fall down.

"And I'm a pirate, do you think we care about those rules? We own the biggest part of the world. You may own land but I have had a ship of my own since I was 18, I conquer oceans, I have killed thousands, I have stolen millions... What do you say to that, landlubber?" The shorter said getting up and smirking to the older.

Seonghwa stopped for a moment, fixing his eyes on the black hair that covered just part of his forehead, leaving his slitted brows show. He had a self razed undercut and longer hair falling down his neck. His parents would never let him have that hair style or let alone those skull earrings he always wore—probably stolen.
Before he spoke, he took a glimpse of his lips, nose and eyes. What was his expression? What did he mean?
