Six people were waiting on the ship by the port, their faces expressed disgust, boredom, anger... But there was one person specially furious: Kang Yeosang.

"Swab, bilge-rat, scurvy dog, poxed piece of squid... I'm going to make you kiss the wooden lady¹ for hours and later I'll flog² you. Then you'll be sweating³ and later you'll meet the rope's end. I'll make you do the Gallows dance⁴ making you bite the bullet⁵ to finally feed the fish with your dead body," He muttered to himself, "Ye ladder suckin' spit waesel..." He then spat into the water

Wooyoung slapped the back of his head. "That's nasty, ye oyster sucker," The black haired glared at him mad.

"Its water on water, ye spineless bastitch." Yeosang said tired of his mate's hurtful slaps.

Then, finally, Hongjoong appeared in between the people, but he wasn't alone. He was dragging someone who was hesitant to walk. The guys immediately recognised who it was. They were about to shout, but the Captain hushed them with a smile.

He made the inmate go up the board into their ship, grabbing him by the waist when he almost fell due to not seeing anything. Hongjoong almost laughed but he contained himself so Seonghwa wouldn't know who it was.

The tall man was shivering in fear all the way there, making Hongjoong feel like shit about all this stuff. And it was true, what he had said days ago. "Do you play with everyone's hearts like this? " The answer was yes. He did and he didn't feel bad about it. It was part of his work, but something about seeing the taller's tears shined into the dark heart of the Captain's heart. Maybe he thought the older Prince was too pure or that he didn't know a thing about this world. Whatever it was, it didn't let him give the man away. Not for him to be mistreated.

The smile on his face disappeared erasing his initial idea of taking off Seonghwa's veil in front of the entire crew. Now instead, he made him go to his quarters.

"Why is he here? Where are they going?" Jongho asked slightly concerned.

"I have no idea..." Yunho lied.

"Weren't we going to sell him?" San asked confused.

"Buckos... Where is Yeosang?" Mingo looked from side to side.

When the two men were finally inside, Hongjoong closed the door and sat Seonghwa down on his bed. He was scared of the Captain's touch, unaware it was him. He thought maybe a big man had bought him and now he was going to do things with his body, things the black haired didn't want.

"Please, don't..." His voice was so shy, broken and thin. A tear went down his checks. When Hongjoong heard it, he could only think of hugging him. So he did.

Seonghwa got tense for some seconds. What was happening? Wait... That smell... He knew someone that smelled like that. Not long ago, he was laying shirtless on a bed with a man that smelled like salt, coffee and old wood.

"Hongjoong?" He asked scared.

"Aye..." The shorter said with his chest hurting.
Then, at the realisation, the man hugged him back. He felt tight, but not how a man would hug another man tight, but how a child would hug their mother when they woke up from a nightmare. He was still shaking.

"It's fine, I'm here... I'm..." These words, these difficult words. "I'm sorr-"

Before he could finish saying them, he pushed Seonghwa to the floor with him, a dagger flew over their heads and crashed on the Captain's most expensive candle holder. He looked up, still hugging Seonghwa to the floor. "Kang Yeosang..."
