A few years later, Regulus and I still had a similar dynamic. Occasional dates in hogsmeade, late night and between classes sex and visiting Harry every weekend. 

Harry was now 5. He had shown signs of magic when he was 2 years old when he made every lightbulb pop when I wouldn't give him more cake.

Since then, Remus reads him spell and charm books when putting him down for a nap or the night and without fail he is asleep after 2 minutes.

Today I had to bring Harry to see his mother. He didn't enjoy these days and wouldn't let go of my hand when we'd go. It made Lily sad but she had kids of her own.

"Harry! Are you dressed?" I asked from across the hall.

He came running into my room in his fluffy hair and overalls. He had round glasses on, he didn't get the best off the list of genetics.

"Yeah!" He said walking up to Regulus who sat behind me, he had helped dress him.

He asked to be picked up and cuddled him close. Regulus visibly melted on the inside at how kind and cute Harry could be.

"Can we get ithe cweam after?" Harry asked on the way to the park. 

"As long as you don't bite Lily this time, yes" I replied knowing well that no matter his actions, we'd be going home with ice creams. 

We got to the park and Harry hopped out of the car and held my hand. I got his sand bucket and toys out of the seat next to him and walked over to the bench we'd agree to meet on. I sat on the bench and waited for Harry to go play. 

"Do you not want to go play with the other kids?" I asked him when he sat at by feet in the sand.

"They make fun of my glawses" He mumbled while eating the sand. 

"Oh I'm sorry bub. Come here" I said reaching down. 

I picked him up and sat him down in my lap. He snuggled closer to me making my heart melt. 

"If you want I could try to find some other kids you could play with. Do you remember the Weasley's?" I asked him. 

"Rwon?" He asked looking up at me with tears in his eyes. 

"Yeah Ron! He was nice right?" 

"Yeah! Not as fun as padfoot though! He's a dog and pways catch" He said smiling. 

"Hey you two" A voice said above us, causing Harry go still. 

"Hi! How are you?" I asked while she sat down. 

"I'm okay. Very pregnant again but 3rd times the charm, hopefully" She said before sighing. 

"How's Alison doing?"  I asked. Alison was the kid she had with Snape. 

"She's doing better. She started asking questions about her father and I couldn't bring myself to lie to her. Issue is now she wants to meet him but you can't visit Azkaban under age. Hopefully letters will work but I'd be surprised if that idiot ever replies" She said getting pissed off at her ex, once again ranting to me.  

"I guess we did get a bit lucky. At least this little guy knows both parents" I said before tickling Harry's stomach making him giggle loudly. 

"How are you Harry?" Lily asked. 

"Happy! Daddy said he'll tell Rwon to pwalay with me!" He replied sitting up on my lap. 

"Hey Harry, why don't you sit with mommy for a bit. She won't see you again until you're six!" I said reminding the kid of his own birthday.
