Chapter 2

I opened my eyes and the former pretty bright red wallpaper was now black. Of course it was....I had a horrible nightmare. I stared at the ceiling feeling miserable. I had powers I couldn't control. I finally got up and showered. I put on my black top and white jeans. My bright red hair was left dangling. I put on my canvas and left. I walked towards the classroom and I ran into Kadee.
                          Hey , I said and she turned to face me.
                      Hi Bailey. Come have breakfast , she said and pulled me towards the enormous dining hall. I looked round. Students were chatting , eating  and so on.
                 Two hamburgers please , I heard her say. I turned and I realised we were standing next to the counter. A young lady with long coal black hair stared at me .
                     Hello ! I'm Deloris , she said.
                     I'm Bailey , I said. She nodded and gave us our plates. Bailey led me towards an empty table. Well not that empty....... Becca , Raquel , Louis , Lloyd and Roger were seated there.
                       Hi guys ! , I said as I settled down. They waved and then continued eating. I bit into the hamburger and it was amazing. After we ate , we walked back to class.
        What do we do now ?, I asked.
    We learn your origin , Becca replied.
    Origin???
Think of the past..... focus on your powers , Kadee said. I closed my eyes and then everything turned white. I opened my eyes and found myself in a cave . I saw little me running around being chased by my aunt.
         Come back here Bay , she shouted. I watched as little me stopped in front of a pillar with a diamond shaped crystal on it. Little me grabbed it and the ground rumbled. Aunt Sandra stopped and stared at the rock a look of horror on her face.
                  Drop it , she said but being a stubborn girl I held unto it. My hair became dark red and fire surrounded me . The crystal vibrated in my hand then there was a large explosion. Everything turned black but I was still there. There was a flash of white. A man stood there smiling at me.
            Hello Bailey , he said then I woke up. Kadee was next to me .
            Your origin was awesome ! , Becca exclaimed.
      You were really naughty , Louis added. I got up from the floor and sat down. That image of the man in white kept on bugging me. I shook my head.
      I need to rest , I said and left the classroom. I went to my room and undressed. I lay on the bed.
     What was that crystal ? Who was that guy ? How was aunt Sandra related to all this ? . All those questions bothered me. I shook it off and slept hoping that tomorrow wood be better....
