Chapter 8

Ivan Miller! Heart breaker......
Why did he tell me he loved me? He raised my hopes up. I lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
   Wait! Is that a latch?
I got up and pulled open the latch. I climbed up the ladder which led me to a room in the attic. It was a boys room, very boy-ish. There was a box filled with some stuff and I found a diary. A very beautiful one. On the first page were the words; Saranghae.
I flipped through it and finally found a page about.....me.
  Dear Diary,
She pushed me away and I'm meant to happy but I'm not and it's hard. I just..can't .....I hate hurting her. Am I falling for her? No! I have to kill her

Tears filled my eyes as I read this. It was so touching. He loved me. He wasn't supposed to love me. My handsome guardian. I went back to my room and closed the latch then I put the book under my pillow and left.
    I opened the classroom door and found Kadee speeding round the room in circles.
     What's wrong with you? , I asked. She stopped and stared at me. Her eyes were lifeless.
      Join us , she said with a smile on her face. She walked towards me and punched me. I didn't want to fight her.
        Stop it ! What's wrong with you? , I asked but she didn't answer. She charged towards me but a blinding light appeared and stabbed her. It was Ivan.
    Why the hell did you do that? , I asked as she fell down dead spilling out blue blood.
    That's not your friend. She's a blue blood, he said.
       Blue blood???????
Blue bloods are like the opposite versions of us, he said and I nodded.
          Marina is sending blue bloods after you. She's a blue blood but she can control them. She doesn't have a blue blood....Why? Her good part is dead so she's purely evil now, he said.
     Where's the real Kadee, I asked.
Somewhere in Rivera, he said and led me away from the scene. Just then Kadee appeared.
     What is he doing here? , she asked.
    He saved me, I replied.
So what? He might still kill you , she said.
  Kadee stop fighting with your sister, Ivan said.
                      Sister?????
He sat us down.
  Years ago twins were born to a woman and one of them was destined to be powerful but most heroes feared her so they planned to kidnap her. Unfortunately they kidnapped the wrong one and decided to kill her instead. The little girl was thrown into a sea of electric eels but she didn't die because she got hold of the magic crystal which gave her speed powers. On that same day two brothers were sent down to earth. Light and darkness, day and night. Marcus and Ivan. Marcus was meant to kill her while I was destined for the other. Marcus fell in love with you Bailey but you never loved him, he said. That whole story was about me and Kadee. We stared at each other and smiled.
      So were sisters, I said and we hugged. Just then I had a vision.

Young Bailey sat on the bench next to Marcus Miller. He was dressed in all black and his hair was dark.
       Hi Marcus, Bailey said with a broad smile on her face as she laid her head on his lap.
      Hello Bailey. Has Ivan left you? , he asked.
   Yes! But he's going to return , Bailey said.
    I'm afraid not sweetheart, he said.
Bailey looked up.
     Why did you say that? , she asked.
    Look! I know for sure that he's not coming. Why do you like him? I love you more than him, he said.
    I'm sorry but were just friends, she said. Marcus stood up, his dark aura blazing wildly.
         Goodbye Bailey, he said.

I opened my eyes.
       Marcus loves me, I said and Ivan nodded. Kadee stared at me a big frown on her face.
      So they both love you. Who's gonna love me? , she asked angrily.
          I don't love Marcus, I said.
       Whatever! , she said and left.
Ivan faced me and shook his head.
     Just watch out for her okay , he said.
       Wait! Did you mean watch you said or is it all a facade, I asked. He held my hands and teleported me to the balcony.
    It wasn't a facade, he said and then he kissed me. He stared at me with a smile on his face.
       Goodbye Bailey. Stay away from Marcus, he said and disappeared. I sat on the bench in the balcony and my finger traced my lips. I felt my cheeks turn rosy red and I teleported to my room. I changed into my pyjamas and lay on my bed. I fell asleep and dreamt of Ivan. A trip through romance land.....
