Chapter 9

Saranghae!
I woke up feeling much better then I remembered the kiss that I shared with Ivan. My first kiss was with a handsome god. I stared at the ceiling with a big smile on my face. I finally bathed then put on my black crop-top and Jean shorts. I brushed my hair and applied light make up then left my room. I was excited that I had a sibling but there was one person... two people who were bothering me Marcus and Marina. It's just too much for me and the worst thing is Marcus loves me and I don't. Just finding out about him irks me. I mean what if Marcus hates me and plans to get rid of me... I still need to learn how to activate my powers without using anger.
              Hey sis, I said as I walked into the classroom.
    What do you mean?, Becca asked and I told her everything that Ivan said.
            Amazing...I wish I had a sister. I did but she died..a twin, Becca said.... but I'm over it.
I stared at her and shook her head.
           Bailey your powers are getting stronger and you still can't control it, you need to tap into your power source, Kadee said.
       How?, I asked as I took my seat.
     Get up and just think about your powers, she said. I got up and closed my eyes trying to tap into my power source but it was impossible.
     Try harder , Kadee said.
           I can't, I said.
     You can, she said and I heard Becca chanting my name. I just couldn't why were they pressuring me. I felt my anger rising. I was angry at myself for believing her and finally I broke down. I ran out of the classroom and walked outside. I breathed in the fresh air. The streets were empty. I walked towards an uncompleted building and plugged in my earpod as I listened to "Don't let me down". I felt my powers rising.
        Control it, I thought and I kept on thinking about my powers.
         Tap into your power source, I said to myself and it worked. I teleported from one corner to another, flew around the place, shot lasers at a brick and it felt awesome. I shot fireballs around the place and then I went back to the classroom.
       Kadee! Becca! I did it, I shouted happily. I tapped into my power source.
     

        Congratulations sweetheart!
I turned and saw Ivan smiling at me. I hugged him tightly and he kissed me.
     Now that you've learnt how to control your powers... Marcus is after you, he said.
       Why the hell is he after me? , I asked.
     You never loved him. It's his revenge, Ivan said.
     He won't get to me , I said.
I walked into the big dark mansion. It was so beautiful on the inside. I just felt drawn to it.
     You like it don't you, a voice asked.
I turned around and there he was... Marcus.
         What do you want?, I asked.
   Your life sweetheart. You never loved me it was always Ivan. Now you'll die , he said.
   Not without a fight, I said.
    Leave her alone Marcus!
Ivan was right in front of me with a beautiful sword. It was a gruesome battle. Before I could blink, Marcus was behind me and I felt something cold on my skin.
       Goodbye Bailey, he said and stabbed me. I fell to the floor. I felt so weak. No! I wouldn't die like this. All the energy I had left was used to blast Marcus. He fell to the floor I assume dead. Ivan knelt beside me, he was chanting spells.
    I'm meant to die , I said and caressed his cheek. I took my last breath and gave up the ghost.
I opened my eyes and I was staring at my body with Ivan next to it.
   Ivan! Ivan! Can you hear me?, I shouted but he couldn't.
  I'm leaving Bailey... I'm fading away. You were the one that kept me alive, he said to my body. Tears filled my eyes. He lay next to me and closed his eyes then turned to dust. Once that happened I was sucked into a whirlpool of darkness.
