Tridosha Food
There are three words in Sanskrit relating to impure foods: Jaati Dosha, Nimitta Dosha, Aashreya Dosha. They mean food which becomes impure "by its nature", "by its muscle memory", and "by the persons handling it".
Jaati Dosha is food that becomes impure by its nature. These are food obtained by stealing or killing or depriving someone of it.
Nimitta Dosha, means the way in which the food comes to us: These are foods filled with anger, fear, hurt, pain and depression memories in it.
Aashreya Dosha relates to the people who handle the food and touch it. Such a person adds more poison to the already impure impressions in pain-filled food.
