TOXIC | Jungkook

I saw out of the corner of my eyes someone peeking from the second aisle on the left holding a gun. Before thinking my way out of that situation another man jumped from the right. I moved in a fast speed- faster than what I thought my body can afford, pulling jungkook inside the aisle I was standing in and at the same time I kicked the man's arm which made him let go of the gun and I caught it from the ground then pointed it at him.

The man put his hands up in defeat when I tilted my head smirking at him, I looked over my shoulder to see jungkook standing behind me eyes wide opened unable to process what happened in seconds

" run " I said before turning my heels and ran the other way not forgeting to push the cart, food is my priority.

In the other end of the aisle I hit another man in black suit with the cart, it was unintentionally tho.
People started running out of the supermarket and the alerts went off after seeing the guns.

" watch out " jungkook yelled when he saw another man coming out from the aisles, the alerts sound took me out of guard for few seconds but it could have been enough for them to kill me. I turned toward the new man but the next thing I felt was being back hugged tightly by jungkook as he spinned our bodies the instant the shooting echoed in the market.

We both fell on the ground between the aisles where we were before, his intent was to pull me to hide behind them but I saw blood on the marble and he groaned

I ignored him and stood up on the edge waiting for the right time and when I heard the footsteps close to where I was standing I slid to its direction and kicked his leg with all the strength I never thought I had. I pinned the man on the ground trying to take away the gun from his hand but he was fighting back

He used force to move the gun toward my chest then he pulled the trigger but luckily I could move it away in the right time and a bullet was shot at the ceiling.

I saw the gun slid away after someone kicked the hand of the man

I smiled when I saw jungkook, for a second I thought he was seriously injured but he was standing so nothing serious I guess.

Again I was distracted and the man under me punched me hard on the face making me fall beside him.

Before he could stand on his knees jungkook kicked the man's belly hard enough to make him on the flour groaning and that was my chance to knock him out with the gun's handle on the back of his head, the gun I took from the first man.

" you are lucky I don't kill " I mumbled when the man blacked out, right then we heard the police sirens approaching

" we have to go " not forgetting the cart I ran out of the supermarket followed by jungkook

The sirens were coming from the left so we ran to the right the fastest we could not looking back or stopping for a second to catch our breath.

I heard jungkook steps stopped when we were in a lane leading deep inside the forest, I stopped too and turned around to face him.

" you are fine now I have to go "

" where? " I asked

" there is a fucking bullet in my arm " he replied with a duh

" you can't, I will treat it for you " I approached but he backed away screaming " no ! "

" then go to the hospital idiot and rot in jail " I yelled at him and turned my heels pushing the cart and leaving him alone behind.

" what ? " he huffed, shocked.

" why did you get involved in this I thought you were smarter " I yelled again not stopping nor glancing at him, he followed me with a frown on his face.
