Chapter 4:Ready or Not

Diana continued to swing her feet back and forth slowly glancing over at Michael, trying not to stay lost in this enchanting moment. Michael then took Diana's hand gently rubbing his thumb up against her putter hand getting nervous Diana jumped off the swing giggling as she ran towards the parks big blue tube slide.

"You know I don't mind playing hide and seek, seeing how you've already hidden yourself from me. Here I come."

Diana hiding was trying her best not to laugh at Michaels attempt to find her she thought it was adorable the way he let the child within himself roam free so carelessly.

"Your getting warmer Mr.Jackson"

Michael ran towards Diana's voice slowly walking up the steps as if they were pieces of ice on a freezing winters day on the verge of cracking , quickly Michael made his way across the jungle gym swing from arm to arm jumping down placing both feet on the ground crawling quietly to the blue tube slide.

"Diana , where could Ms.Ross be? Hmmm , she can't be in this slide , impossible that a skinny little fine thing like her can even fit in here."

Diana giggled holding her hand to her mouth trying to slowly move from the slide her foot did not cooperate with her and before she knew it her foot had slipped , her body followed behind her.

"I guess a skinny narrow thing like me could fit in that slide Mr.Jackson."

They both let out a hard hefty laugh almost in tears Michael was now holding Diana in his arms with a glow in both of their eyes, lost in the moment they both stared into each other's eyes , hand in hand Michael let out a nervous chuckle as Diana pulled him closer staring into his eyes , Michael then gently placed on hand on Diana's right cheek staring deep in to her eyes as they both leaned in close there lips gently pressing up against each other's both of their eyes shut slowly embracing the moment , Michael gently caressing Diana's cheek pulling her in closer holding her by the waist with his other arm , his arm secured around her waist her gently backed up taking his other hand caressing her left cheek as he stared into her eyes.

"You are truly amazing Diane , any man would be a fool to ever let you slip from his arms and let you roam to another's , your voice , your personality , your kindness. Everything about you is what I would want in a woman. Since the moment our eyes met you've stolen my heart and I don't mean to confess my feelings so abruptly like this , I just thought you should know you are something real special."

Diana smiled a bit speechless she grabbed Michael's face back gently pressing her lips gently against his, as they both smiled and laughed.

"Well i think your something special too Michael , real special. All the hurt i had felt before seems like it has finally disappeared and I'm not sure if its you or its me but I sure wouldn't mind if this feeling lasted forever."

They both smiled like two kids falling in love , running around the towns park through the night grew tiresome as the parks grass became a temporary bed hand in a hand these two imperfect but perfect souls stared at the nights shinning stars , As Michael's eyes grew tired Diana turned her attention from the sky to the sleeping handsome brown eyed man , she caressed his hand smiling beginning to sing
