~Chapter five ~

[ Yeona's pov ]

My heart was still racing and I knew he could still hear it. D..did he inhale my scent?

I get that he was a vampire and that I shouldn't be this shocked, but it's Kim Seokjin we were talking about. It felt different. Different to when Hyungwon touched me. I could still feel the butterflies in my stomach. And I liked it.

For some reason I wanted more. More of him.

My eyes stayed glued to the back of the head as he walked away. I flinched slightly when he suddenly disappeared. I guess he used vampire speed.

"Who the fuc-"

I looked up at the guy standing in front of me. He was staring at his broken locker behind me.  Good thing he wasn't a vampire. "I'm sorry. Vampires." I mumbled before walking away from him. I felt bad for him but there wasn't much I could do.

I was annoyed at the fact that Hyungwon wasn't in my next class. I needed to talk to him. I wanted to know what they meant.

"Late, human."  the teacher announced as I walked in. I bowed my head in shame before walking over to my seat. There were only two humans in my biology class. Me being one of them.

I took my seat and unpacked my things.

I flipped to a plain page and began writing down notes I missed. I was too concentrated on writing down notes that I didn't realise the chair beside me being pulled out.

My brows furrowed when I was hit by a strong scent of cologne. I turned to the seat beside me which was supposed to be empty.

"I'm Kim Seokjin." he said in his beautiful rich voice.

My eyes widened and I dropped my pen. He looked down at my pen then back at me.

"I...I know." I said in a small voice.

He raised his brow slightly. "Oh, I am-"

"I know who you are." he said cutting me off.  I bit my lip. Of course he does. I'm so stupid.

"You take biology?" I questioned.  He shook his head. "I don't take classes." he said still looking at me. I started to feel insecure. Why was he studying me like that? 

"What is your human age, yeona?" he asked. I loved the way my name rolled off his tongue. It sounded so nice in his voice.

"I'm turning eighteen in two months." I said breaking eye contact. This guy sure knew how to look someone in the eyes.

"Look at me when I'm speaking to you." a voice said in my head.

My eyes widened. It was his voice. I looked up at him. He was staring down at me with no emotion. I never knew vampires could do that. Hyungwon never did it so I thought it wasn't a power they had.

"C..can all vampires do that?" I asked him.

"I can do many things other vampires can't" he said finally looking away, but I didn't. I kept staring at him. 

"Why are you talking to me?" I blurted out.

"Am I not allowed to speak to you?" he asked clenching his jaw. My eyes widened slightly. "N..no, that's not what I-"  I stopped myself and sighed. "I was just curious." I told him.

"You're curious about a lot of things aren't you?" he replied.

"It's a human thing, I guess." I said with a smile. My smile immediately dropped when I saw he wasn't smiling. Ok, no humour.
