The Play Date

Kate
I arrive for the play date and get the stroller out and diaper bag. Raza told me where to meet for the play date but forgot to tell me who it was I was meeting. I finally get to place where I am supposed to be and it is a place where moms, dads and grands take babies and toddlers to play and socialize. I mean how much can little Ethan socialize at this age. I walk in and a very good looking man walks towards and carrying a baby in one of those body carriers. He introduces himself as Roger Davenport, apparently Raza has called him about me being here and sent him a photo. He is a widow with a baby the same age as little Ethan and they have been playing together in the group for a while. I suspect a fix up here. We take the boys to the group and join them. James is his sons name. After an hour they are done and ready for diaper changes and bottles and naps. Roger invites me to lunch which is a stroller friendly restaurant. I laugh until I see what he means as we get to restaurant. The whole setup is made in such a way strollers can be easily moved between the tables. It is very baby friendly.
Roger
Raza set this up so we could meet, she wants to see how it works between Kate and I. I am enjoying the company and she really hasn't taken care of her nephew much at all, if any. That might be why Raza did this, because I am an expert at caring for my boy. I had no one to help me at all. The nurses showed me a lot in the hospital, but that is taking care of a newborn. I decided that it would benefit me to join these baby and me classes and get in on play dates. I at first was looked at oddly and then they found out I was a widow raising my son alone. I was welcomed and they showed me all the little tricks to get James to settle and be a happy baby. A happy baby is a loved baby by all. I found that to be true in a lot of cases. Kate is definitely nice looking and well tended, but her skills caring for Ethan need some refining. I ask her if she plans to marry and have children one day?
Kate
I hope to someday. I had no idea my brother and his wife would leave me to care for their son so soon and for the weekend. He laughs and says once you get the hang of caring for his needs it will get easier. I think he is a good father we have lunch and head back to our cars he gives me his number to call if I need help with Ethan.
The weekend finally came to an end and I gave the car seat back and stroller and ran home.
Raza
Well he looks healthy and the house looks fairly clean, she left as soon as she could. I hope her and Roger got along well. She left so quickly I couldn't get a question out. Ethan just chuckled as he cuddled Ethan.
Ethan
Just be glad we got a weekend to enjoy our anniversary. I hold her and Ethan. I had Raza set up the play date in hopes Kate and Roger would like each other, but we never got any feedback from either of them.
The Grey family dinner

We are met at the door by a maid and she lets us know where the rest of the family are and leads us to them. We see four children and and four adults in the family room. Mia introduces us and I am made to feel welcome.
Annette
Elliott and I arrive and we are escorted into the family room where I am introduced to his family. We have what I thought was a good time with his family. For some reason Christian kept getting a call on his cell phone and he and Anastasia had to leave with the children due to an emergency at work. They got through dinner and said their goodbyes and apologized for having to cut the night short. Two guys also let him and Anastasia there was an issue as well. Elliott whispered that it must be pretty bad if they had to leave so soon and their security insisted.
Elliott
Christian and Anastasia were both getting messages and tried to stay as long as they could but their security came in and insisted they leave and quickly. They moved fast and left with two cars in front and two following them out of the drive. A threat had been proven to be real against them. They had to get to their home and safe rooms immediately.
Carrick
At first I thought Anastasia and Christian were just ignoring our rules, but the looks on their faces after each message it became clear something was very wrong. Taylor ordered back ups at the gates and cars to assure the children were safely in the bullet proof vehicles. Taylor and Sawyer came in and insisted they leave immediately. Christian told us they would call when they were safe. He told us that security was doubling up on all of us until they find the threat.
Grace
I prayed they find them soon, so my family would be safe. No one knew about the latest threat. It apparently was something they hadn't expected and federal agents alerted them after they discovered a few suspicious packages to GEH and then to a few of their newer acquisitions. The news about an explosion at a vacant apartment building being renovated fo subsidized housing was one that made the news. Carrick told me it was one of the places Elliott and Christian were involved in creating an environment for housing, training, medical, child care along with dental services and many other help areas. Someone wanted the place to develop high end luxury condominiums.
