(GORE GORE GORE GORE GORE READ AT YOUR OWN RISK GORE GORE GORE GOR-)

Gorou stared darkly at the flower petals in his hand, they smelled faintly of blood. He couldn't go on like this, not telling anybody would probably cause him to die. He walked over to the candle that was at the nightstand of his bed, and held the petals over it, causing them to burn into ash. Gorou had been getting weaker and weaker by the days, the longer his friend, Kazuha was away. Gorou lashed his tail angrily, of course, he knew what was happening to him, and he knew he was likely going to die. It was the Hanahaki disease. Kazuha had ran off with a friend of his, pretty much in love with him. Gorou genuinely thought the other boy would have died, as the wound Sara gave him was fatal. He slowly changed clothes, he didn't want to die, not while he still had so much to do, and while he was still so young. He walked out of his den-house, and stared at the sky, which was partly covered by the trees overhead.

He wondered if Kazuha was looking at the same sky. He wondered if he would ever see the fellow again. He hoped nothing bad had happened to Kazuha. According to posters he had saw of the two that were wanted, Kazuha's friend was named Tomo. He clenched his hands into fists, he couldn't be a good bow user if he kept getting weaker and weaker. He coughed up an entire Crown Of Thorn, they were slowly getting larger and larger, at one point he had even coughed up an entire vine. The vines scratched his throat open a lot. He had heard you could get this disease cured from surgery, but you'd loose your feelings of love, despite knowing Kazuha probably didn't love him back, he wanted to try things his way. And that's what he was doing now.

Gorou headed to an abandoned shack in the forest, he could feel the vines of the flowers wrapping around his lungs, limiting his breathing. Even if he wanted to go through with the surgery, he didn't have enough money for it. Once he closed the door of the shack, it was dark, but there was a small candle. He grabbed it, and pulled out a string. This wasn't a normal string, it was enhanced with a pyro vision. It wasn't to be used as a weapon, only a light source and to set fires with. The candle began burning. He brought it closer to him, and brought out his knife. He coughed once more, the flowers hitting the floor, all having small droplets of blood on them. Even though Gorou couldn't see the floor, he could smell the blood.

With a shaking hand, he drew the knife closer to where his lungs should be. Eventually, after taking a few moments to take a few breaths, before stabbing down, he could see some thorns, and he proceeded to try and carve the thorns out.

He was bleeding out, he regretted it, he forgot to bring bandages, so he just curled up on the floor, whimpering as blood continued to pour out of  his side. Before he knew it, he was passed out, but someone opened the door. "Gorou!" The voice said. It sounded familiar to Gorou, but he couldn't tell who it was, all he could hear was the blood pumping in his ears.  He was picked up, and his arms were thrown around the person's neck. They smelled familiar, he should know this smell, but he couldn't place his finger on who it was.

A bandage was wrapped around his stomach, covering the stab. "Stay with me Gorou, it's alright.. I'm here now.." The voice murmured. Gorou was eventually brought into the daylight, he was half awake, feeling his life slipping away. He opened his eyes, but his vision was blurry, all he could see was a reddish orange streak in someone's hair. He passed out once more, slowly closing his eyes.

They ran through the woods, to some hospital under the organization Gorou was in. The surgeons rushed in, as the receptionist turned to the person who brought Gorou in. "Who are you?" She asked, her dark blue hair resting calmly over her shoulders. The guy stayed silent for a while, before replying, "Kazuha." The girl gasped, before nodding many times. "Thank you so much for bringing Gorou to us, Kazuha, do you have any idea how this happened?"
