Here's how it had gone down, at least according to Jake Peralta, the dark-haired one. It was the Nine-Nine, which was located near the crime scene, thus fell under its jurisdiction, two of them, Peralta and Diaz, had gone to the scene and then called for reinforcements, because it was not, after all, a bad joke by a few teenagers.
After that, it was not half an hour before the Vulture, Keith and Captain of the 69th, showed up; was, as always, obnoxious; insulted, also as always, the officers present and thought it would be best if the case went to him. One call, was followed by another call and the Nine-Nine, was out.
"Are we still talking about the same person?", Jane asked, completely irritated, because yesterday she had a different experience and it was the complete opposite of what she had been told, "He was nice to my team and me and yes. There was nothing with, stupid sayings or an idiotic behavior. Are you sure you mean him? So, him him, who was just here?"
"Yes.", Diaz, Peralta and Santiago said in chorus and in a tone that was unmistakable.
"Okay," immediately Jane raised her hands defensively and began nodding knowingly, "Okay. It's okay. No need to get so aggressive right away. Too bad, because...."
"Jesus, how can you be like that?", Jane was loudly interrupted by Jake, causing the blonde to wince right away because it sounded to him like she still didn't want to believe them, "The Vulture is not a nice person. And if he is, it's because he wants something or takes advantage of it, otherwise he's nothing more than a condescending guy."
And it didn't stop there. Not by a long shot. It was akin to a blasphemy session that Jane was in for, or rather, it was a chance to just let out all the frustration that had accumulated in the past.
In the minutes that followed, a collection of stories came together, and it got 'better' each time. Better in the sense that it went from bad to 'no words for it'.
