A smirk appeared once again on his lips before he ran his hand through his fringe and confidently walked away, leaving me a wreck.

I felt a vibration run through my pocket so I quickly pulled my phone out, not wanting to be caught by the teacher. It was a text message.

Just wanting to let you know that you're next. ;) xx -Louis

I gulped, trying to get rid of the sudden lump in the back of my throat.

"Shit!"

The bell rung, signalling the end of the lesson. I packed my books up and placed them carefully in my bag.

Walking out of the classroom, my thoughts went back to what had just happened, and what the text meant. I just couldn't get it out of my head, no matter what I tried. It was starting to infuriate me.

I knew that this was what he wanted, to get inside my head, to mess with my thoughts. I figured that this was how he got most of his girls, leaving his bad boy stench behind for the others to drool over.

But I wouldn't be like that, there was no way that I was going to sleep with Louis. That was not how I worked. I wanted my first time to be special. I wanted it to mean something to me, not just some quick, emotionless shag.

I shook these thoughts from my head as I realised that I was stagnant in the middle of the corridors, once again receiving stares from the people that bustled past me. Eager to go and gossip some more with their friends.

I walked at a brisk pace to my locker, wanting to place my books back in there. My bag was starting to become too heavy, straining my back from the weight that it held.

Turning the corner my eyes widened in shock. The familiar brown-haired boy that had previously occupied my thoughts stood still, his back leaning against my locker door. Head was cocked to one side, signalling that he had seen me.

I walked over hesitantly, my heart beat quickening with every step. How the hell does he know where my locker is? But this thought didn't matter anymore. What mattered was that he knew.

"I told you that you'd see me again, Selena." His arrogance stemming out with every word he spoke.

"How did you find my locker?" I whispered sharply.

"Babe, it's easy to find when you know the right people."

"I said, don't call me your babe!"

And with that I shoved him aside. A flash of shock appeared on his face, but he wiped it off quickly. Replacing it with another arrogant smirk.

While he was distracted I took the opportunity to unlock my locker and slam the door open, blocking his face from my view.

I quickly unzipped my bag and started placing my books back in their assigned locations.

Clearly he didn't get my message as he leaned forwards, my locker door closing with the weight he was exerting on it.

His face was close to mine, only a few inches separated us. I could see the little flecks of grey and green scattered around. I was paralysed with fear. His gaze went down to my lips, only to appear back to my eyes a split second later. He started leaning in slowly. The smirk still plastered on his face.

I couldn't take this closeness anymore, I didn't like him being this close and dominant over me. I wanted my first kiss to be romantic, cliché even. Like in the movies, I had always imagined walking along the beach at night, hand-in-hand. The only sound occupying the air being the waves crashing along the shore, filled with the occasional sound of breathing. He would then confess his undying feelings for me and then we would kiss, just as rain started to fall down around us.

I pulled away before he could get any closer. He was still leaning in, so I took the opportunity to get revenge. I placed my apple where my mouth previously was. His lips came into 'mine' delicately placing a kiss on them. Quickly opening his eyes when he realised that he wasn't kissing me a look of disappointment appeared.

"That's what you get for stalking me!" I sneered, my words smothered with annoyance.

His eyes widened, his mouth hung open. Trying to process the rejection.

I turned and walked away, leaving him standing there gaping. My mouth turned upwards with the thought that I wasn't fearful of Louis anymore.

***************

I had been happy all day, rejecting Louis and seeing the look on his face left me feeling extremely empowered. The rest of the day had gone smoothly, I hadn't seen or heard from him since our encounter at my locker.

I smiled, turning my head upwards to look at the sun shining in happily in the sky. Ending my short walk home from school, I turned and walked up my driveway.

Flinging the front door open, I was welcomed with emptiness. My mum was away again, probably out drinking with her friends. But it didn't matter to me, I was used to it by now. It just meant that I had the whole house to myself, I could do anything I wanted.

Walking down the stairs and into the familiar surroundings of my room, I placed my bag on the hook of my bed and slid my belt off around my waist, finally allowing my lungs to collect air freely.

I peeled the rest of my clothes off and flung them into the laundry that was conveniently located next to my bedroom. I quickly brushed through my locks of dark brown hair, tying it up on the top of my head before wandering over to my wardrobe. I pulled my tank top over my head, my head stuck inside, trying to find a way out. Walking aimlessly to my drawers, I finally managed to get my head through the hole.

Pulling out my pant drawer, I grabbed out a pair of sweat pants and yanked my legs through the holes. I hopped over to my bed and pulled my laptop out, pushing the button on the side that turned it on.

A familiar tune started reverberating around my room, I patted my bedspread until I found the lump where my cell-phone was located. I held the screen up to my face, examining the words.

New message from: Louis;)

My heart started racing as my thumb hovered over the read button. Closing my eyes I pushed my thumb down lightly, feeling it come into contact with the screen. I opened one of my eyes hesitantly, not wanting to read the message.

The next time you decide to do a strip tease, warn me first ;) x -Louis

I bolted upright, feeling exposed I wandered over to my window. Peering out, my eyes locked on a familiar figure leaning against a car. His hand running through his fringe, pushing it out of the way of his eyes.

Even from a distance I could see the big smirk plastered all over his face. He winked at me and climbed into the drivers seat. Before I could even register what was happening he drove off.

Making sure he was gone, I quickly pulled my curtains closed and turned around, sliding down the wall until my bum hit the ground. My heart race quickened along with my breathing, I started panicking, feeling slightly evident at my current situation. My hands shook heavily with response.

I placed my head in my hands, trying to steady them. I was starting to feel incredibly ill. Dizziness overcoming me and my vision started to fade in and out.

The last thing that I remember is the feeling of the carpet as my head landed on it.
