I finished setting up the streamers, and climbed down from the ladder. "A little to the left." Mikayla called to Jake, who was putting up a banner with Ross. "A little more-" I zoned out. What if he doesn't like it? I hope he does... "Hey Alex?" Mikayla asked. "Yeah?" I snapped out of my thoughts. "There is a couple outside for you." A couple???  Since we had used the very bottom floor of the pack house, I simply walked out. I stood in complete shock as I stared at the couple. A tall man and a beautiful women stood there. "My Alex. You've become the mate of a powerful alpha?" Asked the women. Mikayla and Jake were standing behind her now. "How do you know our future luna?" Jake growled. "She is our daughter." The man growled back. I lowered my head. "Is this true Alex?" Mikayla asked, clearly feeling the tension. "Unfortunately." I growled. "Have you fixed your shifting issue?" Mother asked snottily. "Yes." I shifted. Why is there so much tension coming from your side of the mate bond? What's wrong? I growled at my parents. "Calm down Aki." My mother snapped. I shifted back. "I told you never to call me that!" I lunged for them, but stopped myself. I'm fine, Jordan.. I said through the mate's mind link. "Leave, now." I growled. By this time, daniel, kami, and daisha were behind me, growling. Ross stood In the back, calmly. "Do as she says!" Mikayla snarled. Everyone had shifted, multi colored wolves, all growling at two people. They began to back off, until they finally left. Everyone shifted back. "Let's finish setting stuff up before Jordan gets here." Mikayla said, placing her hand on my shoulder. I growled accidentally. "Perhaps I should take her for a calming walk." Daniel said. Daniel's job is a comforter. He basically calms people down, like a therapist. "Okay. Be back soon." Mikayla said as We walked away. I could feel Daniel's calming power working on me. I'm at the party where are you at? Jordan mind linked me. MIKAYLA SAID YOU WERE WITH DANIEL IM COMING NOW. I tried to mind link him but he had his shields up. "Jordan got the wrong idea when Mikayla told him I was walking with you." I mumbled to Daniel. "Uh oh.." he sighed. Jordan burst through the bushes and shifted back to human. "GET AWAY FROM HER OMEGA!" Jordan yelled, jumping at Daniel. "Jordan stop!" I yelled. Jordan scooped me up in his arms. We were moving too fast, but I could tell we were heading towards the party. Once we entered the pack house he put me down. "What were you doing with him?" Jordan was making a scene at his own party. "I was only walking with him to calm down!" I began crying. "You're being honest..I'm sorry princess.." Jordan wrapped his arms around me, and pulled me close to his chest. I breathed in his sweet scent, like the forest itself. "Happy birthday." I breathed. Everyone started lightening up after a while. Jordan was sitting at the table as everyone sang. "Happy birthday to Alpha! Happy birthday to you!" Then I did the honors of smacking some cake in his face as everyone cheered. "Why you-" he stopped, looking at me lovingly, and stood up. He leaned into me. "I have a birthday wish.." he said. He then kissed me passionately. Sparks blew up on both sides of the mate bond. He broke the kiss and sank his teeth into where my collarbone and shoulder connected, leaving his mark. The room was silent until everyone clapped. I was their luna officially.
