Emily's POV
"He actually hit you?!"
I asked, taken back by what Amy just told me.
"Yeah." She was still crying into her hands, as we were sat next to each other on her couch.
"But I still don't understand why?!"
It took her a little while to calm down and manage to get any other words out, but she eventually stopped crying.
"Well... he..he was... coming back from his friends who he watched the 'football match' with, completely drunk. And when he went to the loo, his phone lit up from a text message from his friend that he just saw... I obviously read it, being me and... and it---"
She burst into tears again. I gave her another hug until she started to talk again and told me that she sent the message to her phone so she could read it as he was coming back from the loo. And so she showed me the text:

'Dude wat the fuck is wrong wiv u. wat r u gonna tell Amy bout dat girl u shagged.'

I was horrified and Amy could tell.
"I know right." she said before breaking down again. "And that's just the beginning."
"Okay so how did this lead to him hitting you?! Exactly?!"
"Okay, so. when he got back he told me that he needed another drink. But being the caring girlfriend I thought I was, I told him no because he was completely out of his head already and that he needed to go to bed. He then grumped and lightly pushed me away, and he made his way into the kitchen. I then picked up my phone and read the text. I was obviously devastated and wanted to confront him, but I was too worried he would go crazy since he was drunk. So I then followed him into the kitchen finding him drinking a 23% beer out the bottle, and so I stopped him and took it. He then shouted at me and went to grab the bottle again and I got scared, so I pushed my phone back into his face and said 'explain this'. And I started to begin to cry. He then hit the phone so it smashed on the floor and darted for another bottle in the fridge again. And then when I went round from behind him to stop him, he turned around and hit me. He did it with so much power, I tumbled onto the floor.
He instantly apologised but not very sympathetically. And I told him to get out, he refused at first but I demanded him to, so he eventually did. I then got up and went to pick up the broken phone but then you rang the doorbell so I came to you. And thank god u came--." I was so shocked it took me a minute or two to take it in, while she sobbed horrendously into my arms. We didn't say anything to each other, apart from me getting up and grabbing the remote to find Netflix.
"What... what are you--do--ing?" She cried in between sobs.
"I'm renting the Hunger Games Mocking Jay part 1. From my account of course." I insisted. She wanted to watch it just as bad as me... maybe even a little more to admit.
"Really?! Oh my gosh I love you so much Em. You're the best."
"I know." I smirked.
"But wait, you sent me a text earlier today saying that Michael was going to take you. Didn't you see it then?"
I sighed.
"No..."
"Why what's up?" She asked.
"Well this was the reason why I actually came round to yours in the first place."
"Tell me."
i sighed once more before giving in, and pausing the film at the start to explain.

----".... and yeah so then I thought I might as well get off here and come to yours. I then got really weirded out, when I saw a guy coming out of your house, which now I know was obviously Will and so yeah, now I'm here not really knowing what to say to Michael." I started welling up at this point now also.
"Well all I can say are two things: one; I never liked Zack. he's an abserloute dick and two; that for tonight like you said, let's forget about our worries for now and just watch the best film ever. With your real best friend." I laughed a bit. But to be honest, all what happened today doesn't make Michael not my best friend anymore in any way. But then again I've always known that Amy's always been a bit jealous of Michael, but him and me have just accepted that and laugh it off.

*1 hour and 20minutes later*
We were still wide awake, stuffing our faces with Ben and Jerry's caramel chew chew ice cream and pink lemonade but we both stopped when Amy's phone lit up for a text message from across the room. I went over and took it seeing that it was probably from Will and Amy wouldn't need his petty excuse just as I don't need Zack's. But surprisingly it wasn't from Will. So I read the text allowed to her:

'Hey Amy. It's Luke. I've got a just about sober, but recently throwing up Will over here, begging for you and telling me how much he's sorry. But he can't text you because he apparently broke his phone at yours, so yeah, do you wanna come round or shall I bring him over?'

Oh yeah. Of course the text couldn't have been from Will.
"What shall I say?" She asked.
"Gimme the phone." I gave her no time to respond and snatched the phone from her a replied to Luke from Amy.
"What did you say?!" She asked me quite concerned from the look on my face of revenge.
"I just told him that you are going round now."
"Erm excuse me you are coming with me."
"Yes I know that, but Luke doesn't know I'm here does he." I said.
"Then why have you got that look on your face?" She asked, still concerned.
"Because I am going to give Zack a piece of my mind, since he doesn't know I'm here, he'll be even more surprised." I smirked and grabbed Amy's hand for her to go freshen up to go out... even though it was like three in the morning.
