Emily's POV
I woke up from the feeling of nearly falling off the sofa. I turned my head to see Michael fast asleep with his arms wrapped around my torso. I gently removed them and placed them on his stomach, as I tiptoed out the room to the kitchen. It was 8.06am and decided to surprise Michael with our famous breakfast tradition we have almost EVERY morning... PANCAKES!! I would always have syrup, sugar, lemon and raspberry sauce at the side and he would have the same with extra syrup with blueberries also. I could just about here the sound of the radio on top of the fridge. It was Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeren! My favourite artist besides Green Day and Avril Lavigne EVER!! I started to waltz around the kitchen whispering the song quite loudly so Michael wouldn't wake up, stopping to flip the pan now and again...
Until I was interrupted by a loud cough. I turned around stiffly, to find Michael leaning against the doorframe with his classic smirk on his face. Which I secretly loved.
"Great dancing Em."
"Shush!! Don't ruin the song." I whined, pointing the knife I was holding towards him as my finger.
"Alright, alright!" He held his hands up in surrender and walked towards the pancake stack.
"Blueberries?" He asked.
"Yes."
"Lemon?"
"Yes."
"Sugar?"
"Yeeeessssss."
"Raspberry sauce?"
"OMFG MICHAEL YES!!"
"Okay I'll stop... Syrup??"
"Oh yeah... No." I tested.
"WHAT!!"
"IM JOKING!! Relax!! God Michael. It's like you prize your syrup more than me."
"OF COURSE I DONT!" He yelled.
"OMG MIKEY IM KIDDING."
"Oh." He sighed.
"Why are you acting so weird today?" I asked, really taken back with his reaction.
"I'm not." He denied. He was lying.
"C'mon Clifford. I've known you for, what, only MY WHOLE LIFE! I think I know when something's up."
"It's nothin!" He cried. Reaching out for the pancakes.
"Michael! Spill it!!" I demanded. Swerving his plate of pancakes back away from him, waiting for his answer.
"It's just... It's... It's..."
