Michael's POV
"Em! We need to go!"
"Alright! I'm coming!" She called out.
"I swear you just went to the loo!"
"Yeah I did! I'm doing my hair again! The curls and waves fell out because someone messed it up!"
"Okayyyy I guess I deserve this then!" I said sarcatically.
"Yes you do!"
"... Seriously!! You are taking forEVER!! I keep telling you you're beautiful without any makeup or fancy styles in your hair! Just be exactly who you are!! And please just hurry u--!!"
*cough from top of stairs*
My rant was interrupted by a loud purpose cough from the top of the stairs. I turned to see her smirking at me with an eyebrow raised.
She was so beautiful! I mean she is beautiful all the time but I think seeing her think she's won the game with that smirk on her face tops it off. Especially, being the rebel that she is, wearing a black and white skater dress with bright red vans, kinda turned me on.
I knew if I said anything how she looked she would get angry and start raving about how she wasn't and that no matter how much i told her, she would never believe me and that I know it's not true! Even though it 100% positively is!!
So to prevent my jaw drop, I turned and lightly coughed and signalled her behind my back to come downstairs and hurry.
It was now 8.30pm exactly and besides the fact that I told her we have to leave at 8, I knew she'd have a last minute checkup. And when I say minute, I mean HOUR!! I'd booked the 9pm slot for the film but completely forgot that we'd have to eat, so I decided that we'd eat dinner out at the restaurant inside the cinema and then id just move the film slot to 10pm instead.
_____________________After the car ride, I jumped out the car and went to open the door for Emily but she had already got out. "So much for me trying to be gentlemanly... if that's a word..." I sighed.
"Oh well sorry... Mr Gentleman!" She joked. She laughed as we walked up to the entrance of the cinema, and then I laughed when I got the joke, being the typical slow guy I am. Emily then burst into fits if laughter when I finally got it.
"Oh Michael! I think I know where you're taking me?!"
"Oh really? Where?" I played along.
"To the arcade machines?"
"Well...no...but we can still go there." I said. "Look I know you know that I'm taking you to see a film!"
"Really?!! I did not know that!" She said with a sarcastically dumb look on her face. "But I still don't know what film it is?"
"Well you'll have to wait and see." I insisted. As we walked up the stairs to the restaurant 'Croma' in Odeon.
"Oh please just tell me now?!!" She pulled at my shirt sleeve like a 5 year old, with those puppy dog eyes I can't resist. I swear she's managed to pull of so many things because she does that. But I didn't give in.
"I said, you'll just have to wait an----" And that's when I was interrupted by the one thing I was dreading to see the whole night...
