Michael's POV
I turned my head to look at the clock:

6.20pm

"HOLY CRAP EMILY!"
"WHAT THE FLIP MICHAEL! I had almost completed the level!!" She screamed, with her character currently dying an ending the game.
"Erm I don't think so, but it's cute you thought like that."
"...What's wrong then?!!" She cried.
"We've been playing for almost six hours!"
"So?"
"Well, we were going to go somewhere you wanted..."
"Well I decided not to."
"Well we need to stop playing anyway!" I said, standing up.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because... We are going somewhere."
I said, not really wanting to tell her.
"Where?" She asked excitedly, staggering up from the floor, dropping the controller down.
"It's... a surprise!" I demanded turning my way to head upstairs.
"Ugh! Well what should I wear then?"
"Anything you like! Just something casual, it's nothing fancy so don't get too excited!"
"Okaaaayyyy." She seemed really suspicious at this point.
"What time are we leaving?"
She called out from the hallway to my room.
"8.00pm" I called back.

Emily's POV
I picked out Michael's IDIOT tee and wore some of his skinny jeans. (They didn't want to tell anyone but all the boys wear woman's jeans...) but it's an advantage for me! I crimped my hair and applied my mascara, foundation, lipgloss, black eyeshadow, eyeliner and blusher... Yes, I carry these things around with me!
I didn't honestly know where we were going. It could be a mascarade ball for all I knew so there's no harm in looking my best! I made my way down stairs at 7.30 and found Michael in the kitchen. I could hear him cracking something like crisp packets or wrappers.
"Whatcha doin'?" I asked, rocking back and forth on my feet in the door frame.
"Err... I'm just... packing..."
"What?"
"Stuff for where we are going..."
"Okay. So, wherever we're going requires popcorn?" I cheekily gestures pointing towards the popcorn packet fallen on the floor beside him. I didn't expect him to know that he'd dropped it without realising.
"Damn." He mumbled under his breath, bending down to pick up the popcorn.
"Don't worry. I'll pretend I never saw it." I said, covering my eyes and moving backwards into the hallway, just being able to hear Michael's voice mutter a few words.
