AN: By the way, some of these characters might be a little OOC, just a head's up. Also this song and video are awesome! That's the only reason it's here.

In a world of magic, there lies the Garrison, an elite military academy with a secondary-space exploration program, for both casters and humans. After the Kerberos Mission was declared a failure, the Garrison staff proposed a new idea, a team-up between caster and human cadets.

The first selected for the team-up were recruited. Cadets of the human section: Keith Kogane and Hunk Garett. Cadets of the Caster section: Layla Serrano McClain and Pidge Gunderson.

"Galaxy Garrison flight log 5-11-14. Beginning our descent to Kerberos for rescue mission." Said a tanned girl with long thick brunette hair that reaches a little past her shoulders with azure blue ombre ends, which was currently tied in a low bun with a moon hairclip and bright ocean blue eyes.

Sitting next to her was a paler boy, with neck-length black hair and purplish-blue indigo eyes. The two of them were steering the spacecraft they were currently in, on their way to the Pluto moon of Kerberos.

"Oh, uh... Lalya, Keith, can you two please keep this thing straight?" A darker boy with an orange bandana in the back groans.

"Ugh... Hunk, I told you not to eat that big lunch." The boy, Keith likely, sighs.

"Sorry man, but there was a special on beef stroganoff and I couldn't miss it." The other boy says, then groans again.

"Next time pack it up for later. For now, just try to hold on. We'll try to keep her as steady as we can." The girl, Layla defiantly, advices then promises. (AN: Originally her name was Lana, but I decided to change it to Layla.)

"We've picked up a distress beacon!" A young mousy boy with glasses informs.

"Alright! Look alive team, this is what we've been trained for. Ready, Pilot?" Layla says, looking to Keith, who doesn't respond. "Pilot? Keith!" She calls then yells to get the boy's attention, which works.

"Wh-what?!" He says then notices Layla. "Oh, right... Ready Co-Pilot!" He says.

"Get your head out of the gutter, because we're going in. Pidge, start tracking the coordinates of the signal." The girl says to the mousy boy, Pidge.

"Copy." Said boy replies and starts tracking.

"Knock it off, guys! Please!" Hunk begs as the ship starts shaking again.

"That's your own fault! You know you get motion sickness, but you still ate, even against my words!" Keith scolds, rather snappily.

"And we have a hydraulic stabilizer out here." Layla adds and Hunk goes to check the systems. The ship rocks and he groans.

"Oh no..." He says, about ready to barf.

"Don't you dare! Fix the engines first before you go puking!" Keith yells, annoyed.

"Yelling at your team isn't going to help this." Layla lightly scolds him, then turns to Hunk. "Speaking of, try to hold back until we at least land." She tells him.

"I've lost contact. All the shaking is interfering with our sensors." Pidge says.

"Hunk, you're up, I'll try to steady the craft as much as I can." The girl says next.

"R-right..." Hunk says as he gets up from his seat and moves to the gearbox, just as something appears on screen.

"Destination is in sights. Making our landing." Keith announces.

"I don't that's such a good idea with our current mechanical, and gastrointestinal issues..." Pidge advices, looking at Hunk, who nods his head in agreement.
