In one world, I might've impressed the number 1 hero sooner, and maybe saved a couple extra people. Maybe in that world things were different, like maybe some people were in places they shouldn't or should be. I don't know why I'm wondering that though, as this is focusing on MY journey, not another me. So, please hear about my story, about how I helped people, how people helped me, and my journey to become the greatest hero in Japan!

This story is in a world that is very unique. In this world, people have 'quirks'. Quirks are special abilities that make up over 80% of Earth's population. Naturally, this led to some using their gifts for bad and people rose up to stop them. And as such the heroes and villains were born! But, there was a catch. Those unlucky 20% of people born 'quirkless' were often shunned by society, made the laughing stock of the bunch.

Such was the life of young 16 year old Izuku Midoriya. Izuku's life was trash the moment he found out he was quirkless. His childhood friend Bakugo, or 'Kachan', started bullying him non stop as well as the other kids from his school. His dreams of becoming a hero were looking slimmer every day. His only hope, his hero of coarse! All Might, the number one ranked hero of all Japan.... Didn't believe in him.

He told Izuku that without a quirk, it would be too dangerous to become a hero, and instead he should become a police officer that didn't even help in the grand scheme of things. So, here he was, standing on the top of a building watching as his 'hero' turned his back on him, ready to leave like nothing was wrong. Izuku felt so many emotions at this moment, betrayal, hurt, sadness, anger, but mostly emptiness. His dream was crushed completely, and now he didn't know what he could live for. He glance at the edge of the building, wondering if he fell would he survive? He couldn't care less, after all Bakugo has said something to him a long time ago.

('Go take a swan dive of a roof, and hope you get a quirk in your next life!')

People often said that when they jump, they go through many stages of mind. And as the wind swept passed his face, Izuku figured that he was gonna go through that. Stage 1, thought. He began to think about what had led up to this point, the thing that led to him finally jumping. Bakugo, discriminations, his dreams shattering. Stage 2, regret. Izuku remembered his mother, and how she'd always cry whenever he asked if he could become a hero. She probably didn't believe in him, but that was okay. Izuku immediately began to think about what would happen afterwards, how'd she react when she found out her son committed suicide. He wanted a hero to come swoop him up into their arms and save him, but he new that wouldn't happen. And finally, stage 3, acceptance. Izuku finally realized he was taking his own life, so he clenched his eyes shut, waiting for the pain that would take him away from this world...
