Is she fucking serious? I immediately called Leah when I got in Emonios room and locked the door. I packed up all his clothes and got some of my own and we left. When I got to Leah house she was sitting in the living room waiting on us. I layed Emonio in her son room on a fold out bed she had ready for him then went back into the living room so we could talk. I turned on the lamp so she had a clearer view of my face and arms. "Sis I'm so sorry. I never thought of Mik as the physical abuse type of person." I couldn't help but cry. "Leah where did I go wrong? I didn't know blowing her phone up was such a big problem. I'm her girlfriend, if i'm blowing your phone up you should come running obviously there's something going on. I moved here to be with her. I left my job to be here with her. And she knows I don't have nowhere to go around here. She threw that in my face while she pinned me on the couch with a tight ass grip on my arm." Leah shook her head and hugged me. "Sis I'm sorry. You know you and my nephew can stay here. Marie won't care when I explain the situation. I don't know what's Mik problem. If you don't want to stay here I'll pay for yall to stay in a hotel until you find a job and can make shit happen for y'all." "Find a job where though. I've actually been looking and nothing." "Look I know people that know people. I can find you a good paying job and help make things happen. As far as Mik, I'll handle her." I looked at Leah with tears in my eyes. Mik was right I don't have nowhere to go. I left everything I had to be here with her, and now I have nothing. Yeah I got two brothers in Atlanta, Isaiah who is 25 and Tip who is 22, but if I call and tell them about this it won't go good at all. "Sis stop thinking, I got you, me and Marie got you. Lay down and get some shut eye. When the boys wake up I'll take em out for breakfast so they won't wake you." I nodded as she kissed my forehead and watched her go back upstairs to her room. I layed there and just cried silently to myself until I eventually dozed off to sleep.

I woke up the next day looked at the time, it's 3 in the afternoon on Sunday. Great, I basically slept most of the day away, before everything that happen lastnight I had planned to go to church. I walked around the house to find Marie in the room. "Hey Moni, Leah talked to me about everything and whatever you need just let us know. If you want to stay here that's cool. If you want a hotel that's fine too. I'm really sorry about what happen." I sat on the bed and tears ran down my face. She reached over and hugged me. "It'll be okay. I promise, now you just have to figure out what to do for your son. Are you going to talk to Mik and work it out or are you going to let it go and work on things for you and Emonio?" I listened as she talked. "I think I'll go with the hotel. I know y'all will want your privacy and everything." "Are you sure? We don't mind you staying here at all." "I'm sure. Just let me stay here to get myself together." Marie nodded. I got up to go shower and put on some clothes. She came in the bathroom after I was finished getting dressed to do my makeup. My face looked horrible. Now I'll have to figure out what I'm going to do for my son. It's not about me, I have to protect him.
