Everybody bags packed and ready to go. Kym driving her car with Tati, Tonio, Dai, and Monte while I drive Tati car with Zari, JoJo, and my homie AJ coming along too. Comes to find out she knows Leah and knew Mik a little bit and wants to show support. We got another hour before we reach Leah house and the boys are knocked out. "Bro I haven't saw Leah in a minute, I'm kind of nervous." "Why I thought yall was close in school? What you nervous for?" "Man I don't know we kept in touch over the phone but shit we haven't saw each other since High school brahh." "Don't even worry bout it. If the Leah you know is the Leah I know she still cool asf. But let's focus on the right thing. We got to be here for these Tati and Tonio." I saw AJ nod her head. We rode in silence until we got to Leah house.
After we finally pulled up Leah came out the front door with her son Kaden. I woke the boys up and AJ got out. I dapped Leah up, the boys gave her a hug, she gave Kym a hug then her, Tati, and Tonio hugged for a long time. I stood back and watched the emotional hug. Lord be with them. After they hug parted Leah and AJ dapped eachother up. "Ya'll come on in." She said in her semi-deep voice. We all followed her in the house. Everyone sat down in the living room and she broke down what happen with her taking a different way to Mik house and seeing the aftermath of the wreck and what the doctors said. She even told us about Mik beating Emoni up the night before. There was silence while Tati and Tonio cried in her arms. Monte and Zari held theyself together. I rubbed my baby back while she let out tears. Leah took a deep breath before talking. "Tati whatever you want to do it's up to you, when you need me or my opinion I got you. I set up a go fund me account to help pay for burial and already got about $5,000. People been sending their condolences and everything. We need to hit the funeral home and figure stuff out they only give you so many hours until they take matters into their own hands.Ya'll got any family or anything you know about lil sis?" Tati nodded her head no. Well we go you sis. Whoever going to the funeral home let's go." Leah, Marie, Kym, Tonio, and Tati headed to the funeral home while me and AJ kept Kaden and the boys. Monte went upstairs and slept on Leah bed while AJ and I took Zari, JoJo, and Kaden outside.
