albedo x female reader coffee shop / college modern au :)
y/n is a girl whos mother married a certain gingers father. the story starts off in a coffee shop on the 23rd of december (my birthday btw!! <3).
as diluc opened his present he suddenly growled and showed the present. "ahem. kaeya. did you happen to get me this questionable present?." as you read the words out it said:

everyone stood there in shock while you and hu tao tried to keep in your laughter but couldnt and started bursting out in laughter.
"ah-ha my stomach hurts after that!" you said
"mine too ow hahaha" she replied
"not. funny." the red head growled.
"tao tao, please calm down.." yanfei said.
"yanfei!! dont worry shes allowed to make fun of my brother. right diluc?"
"kaeya.." he said growling again
"yes diluc?" kaeya said chuckling.
"haha whatever next!" you said
"next, childe gets to open his present" albedo said
"OOH YAY!"
"childe stop being such a child" you lectured
"but y/nnn!"
"just open your present will you?"
as he opened his present he saw multuple things. a whale plush and some whale themed cutlery, for e.g: forks, spoons and chopsticks with whale pattens engraved in them.
"oh, i think i know who got me this. was it zhongli?"
"no, you have one more guess" zhongli said
"hmm was it my lovely sister y/n?"
"firstly dont call me that and secondly yes i got you that present."
he quickly stood up ran and hugged you. "who wouldve thought my sister would go out of her way to buy me, annoying childe, a present."
you quickly slapped him "CHILDE get off me before i call dad and tell him you are being annoying."
"okok sorry." he stood up and walked back to where he was and sat next to zhongli.
yanfei whispered "hu tao, dont laugh."
"im trying!"
and suddenly hu tao started bursting out in laughter again.
"hu taooo!" yanfei face palmed
"hehe, you guys are so silly!!"
you gave a death stare to childe and he smiled at you.
"ahem. next to open their present is yanfei."
"OOH yay!!" the pink haired girl quickly opened her present and saw it was a new law text book.
"YAY i think i know who got me this!! was it zhongli?"
"ahem. yes it was me. i thought you may like it since you are studying law in university and may need it." the deep voiced man spoke.
"oh thank you zhongli!!!!"
a/n: sorry for an a/n in the middle of the thing but y/ns like 18 so uhh they are in university but its their first year and they are like child hood best friends with yanfei and hu tao ig anyways lets get back on to the fic lmao
suddenly albedo spoke again "next hu tao will open her present."
"ooh yay!" she said clapping her hands.
as she untied the ribbon of the small box she saw the present. it was two butterfly hair pins and a pair of butterfly earrings. the earrings were the types of earrings that hang from your ear off of a, whats it called? its like in a wring shape let me get a pic.

hu tao squealed and then had a quick look around the room, "hmm could it possibly my good friend xingqiu who got me this?"
"you are correct." albedo responded
"oh thank you xingqiu!!! hehe! i got it correct." she said while putting on her earrings and hair pin.
"okay next will be xiao."
xiao wasn't listening in-fact, he was actually listening to some music while playing subway surfers on his phone so zhongli had to tap him on his shoulder.
"ahem xiao."
"stop. oh yes zhongli?"
"it is your turn to open your present."
"but i do not care for these traditions."
"xiao." zhongli said in his deep voice.
"okay fine."
as soon as he opened his present his eyes widened and his cheeks reddened. it was almond tofu, some new expensive headphones and a gift card.
"im not sure who got me this. am i required to guess?"
"yes." the brown haired man replied
"was it that guy whos our roommate? what was his name. childe?" xiao questioned
"HEY!! BE GRATEFUL I GOT YOU THA-"
"childe. calm down." the brown haired man spoke once again.
"ugh fine. and yes. i got you that. i asked zhongli about things that you liked."
the short boy simply nodded and mumbled a small "thanks".

i kinda have no motivation lol, anyways my summer holidays just begun and i have a lot of free time to write and stuff lol. it may take like a week and a half for me to write the next chapter but we will see, anyways whenever you are reading this, have a great morning / afternoon / night <3
and also should i add y/n getting a present or do i just skip to the next part?
