a chaotic feast

once you had all finished getting your presents, you all rushed to the table and started getting food.

"hey who made these potatoes they are super good" you asked

"me." childe responded

"nevermind i hate them."

"HEY-" he said standing up from the table

"what? shut up before i-" you responded.

"y/n calm down please" albedo said

"fine. but next time im not calming down and i will punch him."

"even diluc and i dont fight like this, they fight like crazy in front of others and have no shame." kaeya said

"my my! they are, being quite loud arent they? others are around as well.." lisa added

you sat down and started chewing on your food with an upset face.

"y/n here is some water" albedo said.

"thanks." you said while giving childe a death stare.

"i believe everyone is done, if that is the case then shall we do some karaoke?" albedo suggested

"OOH YES!!!!!" xinyan and barbara said in sync.

there was singing, laughter and chatter all around. you and albedo were staring at each other and he mouthed. "im tired."

in response you laughed and walked over to him and sat next to him on the sofa he was on. "here lie your head down on my lap and sleep for a bit, ill get childe to help me clean up the house after the party is done." you said smiling subtly. as he lied down he looked up to see your grin. he was observing your facial features until he felt something touching his hair and jumped a bit. it happened to be your cold hands. he allowed you to continue and he slowly fell asleep. once he had fell asleep you kissed his forehead and asked childe, "brother can you help me take albedo to me and his room."

"no, i dont like him." he responded

you grinned and said "okay thank you for agreeing! please pick him up off my lap, carry him and follow me."

as you felt albedo get lifted up off of your lap you gestured childe to follow you. "our bedroom is right this way. please follow me."

when you reached childe's eyes roamed around looking at the room. it wasnt much however, he noticed a piece of jewelry that he had never seen you would wear. he put albedo down, helping you tuck him in and then he walked over to the necklace. it was a silver necklace with a diamond heart hanging off of it. the heart was small so it was simple but it looked expensive. "hey y/n, where did you get this necklace from?" he said while inspecting it.

"oh that.."

after this is gonna be a like flashback thing to when they like got into an argument with childes dad and their mom and like got kicked out so its gonna be angsty 😵 and also like how they met albedo, got that necklace and uhh their past 😵😵😵😵 also sorry if there are any grammar mistakes :( english is my first language but i speak another language at home. 😨 ++ sorry for not updating i had this chapter ready but im traveling rn.
