ANNABETH CHASE
Annabeth honestly didn't know why she felt so nervous. She was running around, frantically looking through Piper's dresses, which she said Annabeth could wear.
"What should I do?" she groaned.
"Wear this one," Piper said, grabbing a gray tight camisole one, "It'll look good with your eyes."
"Are you sure?" Annabeth took a deep breath, "UGH! Piper! Why do I feel this way?!"
"I'm surprised he invited you over in the first place," Piper shrugged, "But it's okay to like him. Maybe you two can be friends and then best friends!"
"Piper... not helping," she sighed, "But this dress is fire!"
"Just let me do some makeup and we'll look great for date night."
"Piper, he's dating!" she exclaimed, "I don't wanna be responsible for breaking them up! Like you said, they're the golden couple!"
"And who says Annabeth Chase can't fix that?" Piper smirked and Annabeth blushed before shoving those feelings away.
"I still hate him," she glared at Piper and Piper shrugged.
"Suit yourself... Wise Girl."
Annabeth froze.
"He... He didn't," she glared at Piper.
"No, I just eavesdropped. So I've pronounced you Seaweed Brain and Wise Girl. You may now kiss the--" Piper started but Annabeth cut her off.
"I'm just gonna wear my white Adidas and that's it, okay?"
"Okay, okay," Piper smiled.
"I still hate him. I'm only going to be polite," she said, grabbing her jacket.
"Have a nice time!" Piper yelled as she got out of their apartment, walking to the elevator.
PERCY JACKSON
"Hey Perce?" Leo asked and Percy looked up from the couch, where he was currently writing a song.
"Hmm?" he hummed.
"Can I talk to you about something?"
"Sure," he shrugged.
"Well, you know that Annabeth chick, right?"
Percy felt a little pang ring through his heart for a millisecond before replying.
"Yeah. Why?"
"Well... this might be a bad time to tell you, but you're having her over for a dinner tonight."
He felt like the wind was knocked out of him.
"What?" Percy choked out.
"Yeah. I might've invited her over to have dinner with you. Don't worry! I already ordered Chinese food."
"No, no, no, Leo!" he groaned, shoving his face in a pillow, "I'm dating Renee! If I hang out with Annabeth at all, Renee explodes!"
"You're not having a date with Renee tonight, are you?" Leo smirked.
"No, but that doesn't mean I can betray her!" Percy exclaimed.
"Well you're not cheating on her or anything. Honestly, both you and Annabeth hate each other so it's a hate, not a date."
"Leooo," he groaned again.
"Well, she's on her way here so you better get off the couch."
