Adrien lay on Luka's bed, eyes closed and snoring quietly.
Plagg squirmed out of Adrien's jacket and floated out into the room. He stretched his limbs and yawned. Ladybug and Chat Noir finished off an akuma a while ago and it took 3 cataclysms, which meant 3 separate transformations. Plagg's energy was drained.
Soft knocks resounded on Luka's door before the tall boy came in with a plate of cheese.
Luka smiled at the sight of the kwami and put the plate of cheese on his bedside table. He then sat down on the floor, leaning on his bed where the blond boy was sleeping. He watched as the little creature floated to the table and began hungrily feeding on the cheese.
Luka couldn't provide much for the small creature, but he got him half of the cheese stock he had after today's battle.
Plagg sat on the empty plate and let out a small burp, signaling he was satisfied. "Thanks, kiddo," Plagg thanked.
Not long ago, Plagg had been discovered wandering around the boat, and that was when Luka knew Adrien was Chat Noir. It was a shocker at first, but Luka managed to keep his mouth shut. He didn't tell Adrien he knew. He wanted Adrien to tell him himself, in which Plagg said that it would be near impossibility.
Luka nodded in response. He stood up and put the plate in the kitchen, where the little cat followed.
Luka made himself some coca while Plagg sat on the table and began to slump down, like a bored cat. Sometimes, it would remind Luka of Adrien; how he appears to be bored but actually had something in mind.
"Would you like anything?" Luka asked as he set his mug down. Plagg shook his head. "Then, is there anything you want to talk about?"
Plagg perked up at the human who was sitting in front of him. And with a sigh, Plagg confessed, "I'm worried about my kid. That damned witch in school keeps spewing out lies as much as she breathes. And my kitty's just soaking it all up like a sponge just because she showed some make-up!"
Plagg sighed and rubbed his eye. "And his cousin, my stars..."
Luka raised his brow at this comment. It was one thing for Adrien to mention his cousin, it was another for Plagg to do it. He let him continue.
"That snob is breaking my kid's heart! And I don't blame him. But can he at least be a little more gentle about it?"
Luka hummed in response. He stretched to reach a straw from a container, put it in his mug, and then extended it towards the agitated kwami. Plagg murmured a "thanks" and accepted the drink.
"Adrien has never gotten the chance to go outside before his mother's disappearance. He never had another voice to listen to except his father. And he never had any friends except Chloe and his cousin." Luka turned to the kwami to look if he's following and was satisfied that those green eyes were giving him their full attention.
"What I'm saying is, Adrien had a sheltered life. And now that you're in it, he's going to look for guidance. You have gone to so many places across the world that Adrien could only dream of. You met so many people and probably have more experience than him. Don't be afraid to express your concerns to him just because you're afraid of hurting him. A flower can only grow when the rain pours."
The cocoa was nearly empty, thanks to Plagg, after Luka's Ted Talk.
Luka didn't mind. He stood up and made himself some more.
