Felix did not know how to make of this 'Nino.' He is loud, annoying, touchy, and generally doesn't have common manners. What he doesn't like the most is how casual he is when he's touching Marinette. He kept slinging his arms around her, hold her hand, and put his head on top of hers. He doesn't like it. How could he do it so casually while Felix couldn't hold her hand?
"Is something wrong?" Marinette asked, looking up from the book she was reading to look at a glaring Felix. Felix was glaring at the text on his book for too long as thoughts circled around his head.
Felix contemplated on how to answer without being rude. He looked at the blunette girl for a little while until he said, "I do not like that 'Nino.'" He said his name slowly as if testing a foreign word.
Marinette looked at him amused, and Felix felt heat rush to his cheeks, embarrassed on how it came out. "Why don't you like 'Nino'?" Marinette asked, saying her friend's name in the same manner as Felix did.
The red on Felix's cheeks increased as Marinette softly giggled. Felix huffed away, looking like Marinette somehow hit his pride. "Well, for starters, he is obnoxiously loud."
"He just likes to express himself."
"He doesn't have manners."
"Respect him, and he'll respect you."
"He's too touchy towards you."
"Physical affection is his love language and we're childhood friends."
Felix stared in disbelief at Marinette. Irritation made its way to his head and he slowly massaged his temple. "Are you really going to defend every flaw of him?"Felix asked, irritated.
Marinette only answered with a giggle and smiled at Felix. She reached out and gently patted his hand that was laying across the table. The action caused Felix to blush, and Marinette found it cute how he reacts to even the smallest touches of skin. "Don't worry, you'll get used to it, eventually," Marinette said, smiling at the blushing boy.
Felix slightly slipped his hand away from Marinette's grasp, not that he didn't like it. He just wasn't used to physical affection. He usually prefers gifts as a show of affection, and Marinette did just that, bring him gifts every week as a new hand-made tie or a pastry from her bakery. He doesn't mind the physical touch, but it still somehow discomforts him to a small extent.
Marinette pulled her hand away and picked up her book.
"You know... I think I might know a way for you to get to know him better."
Felix was not looking forward for tomorrow.
