Hey guys, I just want to mention that there will be more major battles soon. Also, I'm going to make person fight them one at a time, increasing the drama. I will put some filler chapters in the middle. This book will end when Pertemis is achieved and the Primalordials are defeated. I freely admit I borrowed some ideas from other authors and smudged them all together. Yes, Unknown will turn against Olympus at some point, but not for the reason you think. There, my rant is done. Have a nice read!

Third Person POV

Ominously, a horn blew a tune nobody in Camp Half-blood could recognize. Then, standing on the top of half-blood hill, was a monster, one who could not be descriped by time itself. Standing on the hill, was Chronus, primalordial of time and father of time. Next to him, a monster bore a battle flag with an insignia on it, it showed... a stopwatch. Not like those that we use today. On this flag, it showed an old stop watch, without numbers spinning round and round again, hypnotizing you, an old chain keeping it from falling. The demigod horn sounded in return, three short blasts that signaled all demigods around that there was an attack. Percy himself stood in front of the half-blood lines. On his right, Unknown, who represented the army of Chaos. On his left, Reyna, who represented Camp Jupiter. And Perseus, representing Camp half-blood and all of Olympus. All that could be heard was an eerie silence blowing through the wind. The enemies just stared at eachother, ready to spring when their leaders gave the order. Perseus signaled, Reyna brought out the legion standard while Unknown brought out the Chaos insignia flag. Each side hoping for a quick victory. On the right, monsters snarled, gritting their teeth. On the left, demigods held position. Greeks in a spear wall. Finally, the silence ended. Perseus shouted, "FOWARD." The greek phalanx moved foward, with romans covering their flanks. Chronos let out a laugh.

"Foolish demigods, where are your allies? Where is Chaos when you need him most?" Unknown stepped up.

"I am here, I will fight for Olympus." Chronos waved his hand like Unknown was an unsignificant bug to be squashed underfoot.

"Yes, yes. But you are not a challenge. Your army is nowhere to be seen, and you are about to be destroyed." It was Unknown's turn to laugh.

"Where do you think they are? They are in the trees, underground, behind you and even above you. You see, you are outmatched here. I do not expect a Primalordial to back down, but I will tell you to anyway. Surrender yourself to Olympus." Chronos chuckled and shook his head, and the Demigods charged. Surprisingly, the monster army wavered as soon as the demigod army hit it. Adding to all the confusion, Chaos jets were flying overhead, surprising the monster air force, taking down many before a second went by. Artillery boomed in the distance, 200 pound shells smashed through the back ranks of the monster army. Greek firebombs were set off, killing monsters by the dozen. Riflemen in the trees fired, killing off many of the monsters. However, Chronos didn't plan on losing. Earthborn rose out of the ground, surprising the backs of the greek phalanx, causing the formation to scatter. Harpies flew at the riflemen in the trees, picking them off. Drakons breathed fire at the Chaos jets, causing a few to crash land in the monsters' ranks. That's not to say that the demigods and the army of chaos were losing, no. Not by a long shot. Unknown had anticipated an attack from behind, dispatching three squads of Spec. Ops to deal with them. More drakons were disintigrating than Chaos jets crashing. The riflemen in the trees finally realized what was going on and were knocking harpies out of the skies like flies. All the while Chronos stood in the back of his army, smiling.

Unknown was a skilled fighter, able to use any weapon. He drew hunting knives and threw them at two harpies in the air, making them disintigrate, he also conjured up fireballs, continuously burning the monster ranks, causing an en masse route in his area. Reyna had mounted her Pegasus, charging into the battle like a roman should. Knocking harpies out of the sky and coming in for low dives when she could. Percy was a spinning wall of death, destroying everything in his path. Clarisse and her goons were roaring in bloodlust, almost as wild as boars. The Hephaestus cabin threw gernades and bottles of greek fire into the monstrous ranks. The Apollo cabin fired volley after volley, sending giants tumbling to the ground, groaning in pain. Dracanae hissed and gave orders, only to be hacked apart in the next second. As it seemed, every monster that joined the battle were disintigrated within five seconds. As more and more of the monsters were disintigrated, many ran, running like their lives depended on it, which they did. At last, every last monster was destroyed or routing.

Chronos stepped up, at last going to fight. Percy stepped up with Unknown and Reyna, ready to fight, Percy wielding his sword Anaklusmos, Unknown, with one hand ablaze and the other holding a spear and Reyna, with the legion standard and gladius in hand. Chronos charged foward, releasing a blast that sent Unknown and Reyna flying, only Percy held his ground. Percy screamed a battle cry and charged foward, clashing his sword against his opponent's. Demigods watched in the background, awed by the sheer power the two showed. Unknown recovered enough to pull Reyna back up and the two charge, hitting Chronos flying. Unknown unleashed a blast of fire, sending Chronos tumbling back. As the primalordial recovered, Reyna stabbed his chest, making him howl in pain. Unknown masked he, Reyna and Percy with a cloud of smoke. As Chronos looked at the smoke, he held his sword an inch higher, showing that he was not giving up, only to be shocked when Percy jumped out of the smoke and higher above Chronos, bringing his sword down on Chronos's head. Chronos was apparently not out at all, because he met the blade in midair, and kicked Percy, sending him sprawling back. As Reyna ran to Percy's side, Unknown matched Chronos's blade with his own, sending a shockwave out. As the two exchanged blows, Chronos taunted him, only to be slashed in the chest or kicked in the gludius maximus. Chronos finally learned his lesson and shut up, the two seemed evenly matched until Chronos slowed time, giving him more than enough time to deflect each and every one of Unknown's blows. Since Unknown's blows were raining down at unhuman speeds, now they were about as slow as a regular demigod's blows. However, despite being outmatched, Unknown did not back down, deflecting each blow from Chronos. With a shockwave from Chronos, Unknown slammed into a tree, slowly getting back up. Percy ran back into the fight, attacking ferociously, actually forcing Chronos back. Chronos's powers didn't affect Percy, and according the the scared look on Chronos's face, he was losing. Soon, Percy was able to stab Chronos, making him disintigrate once and for all, Unknown made the wind blow, making sure that Chronos's essence was widespread so it would take about a thousand years for him to come back. As realization dawned on the demigods, they cheered, celebrating their first major victory, but little did they know, their enemy was planning.

Evil POV

"So they defeated Chronos hmm? No matter, I will defeat them soon enough, they are celebrating, thinking they have this war won. I will rise, and this world will be mine."
